We chose this cruise because of the convenience of embarking from NYC, visiting fantastic European ports and being well within our budget. Crossing the Atlantic was not as rough as we expected because when we crossed in 2015, we had to hold the railings as we walked. Most of my review compares our Royal Caribbean cruise in June on Oasis of the Seas with this trip. Overall, NCL did not have to deal with any covid restrictions while RC did for our last trip. The Oasis is bigger than the Breakaway. While less grand, the Breakaway was far more manageable for me to find things and get around.

What a fun ship and trip. We took our sister and husband on first cruise. Check-in to NYC was a breeze. Leaving the port on-time and seeing Lady Liberty was great. Weather cancelled Rhode island but every other port we arrived and left on-time.
