This is a new ship and it is beautiful and the price was right. Getting on the ship was pretty fast if you don't stop to take a cruise pic. First impression of inside of ship was wow very nice. We went to buffet for lunch it was just ok noting special like Carnival or RCCL lines what I'm use to. Made it to cabin stated where's the 3rd closet and extra storage space. There was a foul smell coming ...
Had a really good time as usual we dont let the little stuff get to us.The crew were unreal and worked harder than ever to make our vacation as good as it could be. THE PROBLEM?
The company completley misses the mark on the importance of quality and making tools available to the staff. We have done about 15 cruises now Royal Caribbean, celebrity,Cunard, Seabourn, viking and even Carnival and ...
This cruise was a 13 day repositioning cruise to the Caribbean, from NYC to Miami & not the five day Canada cruise, as stated! We chose this cruise because it left from our home port of NYC, eliminating on air fare, plus the cost was low, i.e. $499. per person for an ocean view room!
The ship was opulent & the shows presented were beautifully staged, with the digitally changing backgrounds ...
We chose the cruise to see family in new York, Visit "beautiful" |||| New England and travel on a fantastic looking ship at what we thought a reasonable price.
Embarkation wasnt too bad considering the number of people but disembarcation horrendous. I dont know if it was better if you had pre booked one of their final destination tours or their airport transport but as our travel agent had ...
It could have been so good, but the embarkation was the worse I have ever had to endure. Easy for me as I was not as old as some of the travellers who were made to stand for over 4 hours in the port whilst they embarked. No information, no water, shame on you MSC.
Once aboard the ship all was good. The cabin beautifully adequate with good service from the attendant.
Food was good and ...
We just returned from the October 8 trip on the Meraviglia to Canada from New York. We were in the Yacht Club so I am comparing this to other luxury cruises I have been on such as Silversea or Crystal.
As has been said the embarkation process was very poor. There was no YC luggage drop off nor did anybody know there was a YC area however there was and we found it by pure chance. We checked ...
We chose because of price and destination. Too many passengers for the staff who did their best to keep up. Rarely was I asked if I wanted coffee after lunch or dinner. Three times no creamer, waiter brought a glass or cup of cream and poured it into my warm coffee. My usual go-to alternative at dinner is salmon. It was small and overcooked. No TV reception-I missed news and sports for 10 days. ...
The Canadian Maritime Province itinerary of this cruise and the thought of sailing on a new ship was appealing but the execution of all aspects of the pre-cruise experience, a nearly four hour wait during embarkation and general on-board disorganization have convinced me to refrain from sailing with MSC in the future. Having experienced the woeful lack of customer service when booking a previous ...
After our smooth flight to New York, my wife and I began our MSC 7 night cruise with a rather painless check in. While walking to the ship I was impressed by the new appearance of the ship. Everything was clean and freshly painted (ship looked new).
Upon entering the ship I was greeted by many ships crew welcoming me (barely speaking English) wanting to escourt me to my room. My wife an I ...
The old adage, if it's sounds too good to be true it is...applies here. Pricing is very attractive. You get what you pay for.
We travelled only two hours to port embarkation which was very convenient. Embarkation was smooth and efficient.
The ship was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Itinerary was wonderful. Cabin and table stewards were as attentive as ship's policies ...
