I never write review and felt compelled to revie this. I have been on 12 cruises (Disney, Royal Carribean, Norwegian, Carnival and now this one).
Pros: Ship is very nice, modern and clean
Staff was very nice
Ride was very smooth. We travelled thru a 50 Kt windy storm coming back and ship was steady

I have sailed on the Holmes Line (SS Oceanic), NCL, Holland America, Carnival, Celebrity, RCI, Princess Line, and I was looking for a classic Italian Cruise Line in MSC. First, although Cruise Critic insists on calling this a 5-night leaf-peeper run, it was in fact a 13-night repo from New York to Miami via the Eastern Caribbean.

We were on the Meraviglia departing New York doing the 10 day Canada/New England cruise leaving October 18. We have been on more than 20 cruises with Princess, Holland, Celebrity, Carnival and Norwegian. We have cruised previously on the MSC Seaside and the Divina.
