Beautiful ship and excellent staff

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Caribbean - Eastern

Loved the fact it was two weeks and at the time of year when we needed a break. Beautiful new ship. Observation Lounge was very spacious, maybe too spacious as itwas half empty a lot of the time. Food was okay but not great. Better on the Escape. Layout was good but prefer the Escape here as well. The entertainment/shows were inadequate for the number of days we were on the cruise ship, ...

A Terrible and Expensive Disappointment

Review for Queen Mary 2 (QM2) to Caribbean - Eastern

Our 5th cruise on the QM2 and possibly our 40th cruise overall. The Queen has clearly lost her crown. The ship is aging and needs refurbishing. Seating in the Illuminations theater needs to be fixed so they stay upright, need to be reupholstered; the public areas need to be kept free of detritus and stray bits of food and/or personal effects; the food in the main dining room was absolutely ...

What a horrible location. I have sailed on QM2 many many times and usually ask for a balcony cabin in the Forward Section of the ship. This time however I wasn't so picky and 11110 was my assigned balcony cabin. From the second night to the second to last (12 nites), the maintenance staff was doing work on the deck above me. Right above my cabin. The knocking and banging and dragging of deck ...

Our very first time on a cruise. We were family of 6, adjoining rooms with daughter, son in law , 4 yr old and 6 yr old. Rooms were immaculate and the veranda views were beautiful. Disney app made scheduling character sessions, shows, activities and messaging between family members easy and convenient. Food at cabanas was very good and varied. Shows were fantastic and magical for both the ...

Because I had to cancel the Horizon ship cruise due to being hospitalized last year I booked Sunrise.Sunrise offered same itinerary on New York port embankment. In order not to lose my money I went back on this ship formerly Triumph. I didn't like this ship appearance in 2005 and I didn't like it after being refurbished in 2019. The crew was polite, the entertainment and food was great. But ...

I never write reviews but felt inclined to after seeing so many negative reviews. This is my 4th cruise. I just came back from the 8 day Eastern Caribbean cruise - a cruise which I was a little concerned about because of so many poor reviews. I'm glad I don't always believe what I read. First, the ship is beautiful. Yes it's a smaller ship but at no time did I feel crowded. Never had a ...

Introduction: This cruise was booked 16 months prior to sailing. While it is not our first cruise, it is the first with my daughter and her husband who had no previous cruise experience. I sprang the invitation to my daughter just 6 months before the cruise. To say they were excited is an understatement. We traveled to NYC by train the day before sailing, my wife and I from Boston and my ...

My husband and I and been on 6 Carnival cruises - 4 Royal Caribbean and 5 Norwegian cruises. Traveling with us was my sister in one cabin and (first time cruisers), long time friends in another.
