Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Magic

Our very first time on a cruise. We were family of 6, adjoining rooms with daughter, son in law , 4 yr old and 6 yr old. Rooms were immaculate and the veranda views were beautiful. Disney app made scheduling character sessions, shows, activities and messaging between family members easy and convenient. Food at cabanas was very good and varied. Shows were fantastic and magical for both the ...

First Disney Cruise, 3rd cruise overall, first time Concierge service, ship was in great shape since it's the 1st one to sail. Will be very hard if we sail again not to get Concierge service. Our Concierge team of Alina, Emannela and Nicky were fantastic, there for every need. Our Serving team of Hilash Harinath, Cornel Besoi and Dumitru Cabut were all great and finally our stateroom host Flore ...

Family oriented, great service and excellent entertainment. No need to spend any money, attention to detail and comfort in every aspect of the cruise gives you the ability to enjoy the cruise and kids had a blast! Entertainment was well beyond our expectations for a ship's and there was always something to do for both kids and adults. Disney has a lot of resources and their staff are very ...

Hello, My family and I recently returned from our first Disney Cruise. We did the 7 night Disney Magic Cruise (10/14-10/21) from NY, to Castaway Cay, to Port Canaveral. I cannot express how amazing this trip truly was. Every facet of the cruise exceeded our expectations. The ship was immaculate and well maintained. The food quality was amazing and delicious no matter where we ate. We generally ...

This was my second time on the Disney Magic with my two daughters 16 and 11. I love these cruises as it gives me time to myself and time for us together. My girls are adventurous eaters and had a lot of fun trying new things. I have a big sweet tooth that I don't indulge at home and every dessert was on the mark. We had an inside cabin which is nice because it's very quiet and will get very ...

Halloween on the High Seas, during Halloween, with Disney, what could be a better surprise for my wife that combines two of her favorite things?? This was our 3rd Disney Cruise, and 4th cruise overall (read my other review to see why we are never, ever straying from the Mouse again!) This was our first time on Magic and we were not disappointed. Disney certainly knows how to treat the ...

It had been four years since our last family vacation and cruise, and we were so happy to be going back on The Magic. Our kids are 16 and 11. Our daughter was excited to be in the teen club and our son was happy to not have to check in and out of the clubs and have free reign. We had long talks with both kids and they were great with following the rules we set down. The location of our cabin ...

Everything you could possibly hope for from Disney

We traveled with our aunt who stayed in an adjacent room and by day two she made a comment that pretty much summed up Disney hospitality: "They think of everything." The ship itself, launched in 1998, is not one of the newest cruise ships in the industry but it is beautifully maintained from bow to stern and you feel that Disney magic as soon as you come on board. Staff and crew are all very ...

First time DCL'r

Always a bit nervous to do DCL, as we love going to WDW and were afraid of Disney overload on their ships. Found the ship a good size with a load of 2,600 passengers. With two teenage children, we avoided most of the long lines associated with character greetings, but still got to see them out and about and in shows, which was fine. We actually noticed on our port day to WDW that the lines to meet ...

My husband, my 11-yr old son and myself went on our first cruise ever on the Disney Magic on June 2, 2012. The embarkation was a long process as should be expected, but it was very organized and easy to navigate. The food was wonderful and the servers were very friendly, knowledgable and courteous. Our server was Laura and we all loved her. We also liked the rotation dining set-up as we ...
