We sailed from New York on the Getaway on 12/16/23 with a two day stopover in Bermuda. We picked this thinking it would be a good adventure. NYC cruise port,problem long lines waiting, hard on elderly, when a women asked for a seat,quote you can sit on the floor. Staff delivered food , drinks,none for passengers. Shame

We had to line up for hours outside the terminal in NYC in freezing temps, I saw an ambulance take away an elderly man who collapsed.
The food in the main dining areas was sub-standard, we paid the excess to eat at the better quality restaurants, and there was a massive difference in quality.

14-n-cruise from New-York to New Orleans. Loved the itinerary and the value for money. Got a big deal including drink package, 3 specialty restaurants, 300 minutes internet and gratuities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, but unspectacular.

The comment from a dining room supervisor on our last morning sums up how Norwegian see their customers. “We need you to move on so we can get ready for the next batch of people”. It wasn’t even 9am and we hadn’t finished breakfast.

Whilst some aspects of the haven experience were worthwhile many aspects were not. Balcony in a poor state of repair and dirty Sofa bed which is required if you book a suite for 4 was dirty and not fit for purpose.
No alternative available .
Facilities for 2 only despite paying for 3 this included life jackets! 2 cups shower gel ect only in main bathroom.
