My wife and I traveled with a group of 12 Oct 20 - Oct 27 Crown Princess reposition cruise Brooklyn to SanJuan PR. We are cruiseaholics, numerous lines,1 to 3 cruise per year. Started cruising 1984 been at it ever since. Age 50's, our group diverse, friends and their adult kids, past cruisers and newbies. This was our third Princess cruise, sailed last year NY to NY on Crown 9 day. Sailed Coral ...

I will preface this by saying we had a fabulous cruise. Weather was outstanding (with the exception of one rough night at sea). Pre-Cruise - we drove down from Ontario and stayed one night pre-cruise at the Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island. This hotel was very reasonable, and extremely nice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and I would highly recommend this hotel. The next morning, ...

Wow, I do not know where to even begin, but everything was absolutely outstanding. I was getting really nervous because I kept seeing these negative reviews and so much criticism. But in my opinion, these people were nuts, old and bitter or just stuck living in some solitude world where everything went their way. I did indeed over hear many grouchy people complaining about the smallest things. ...

This is my first review of anything. My husband is 52 and I am 51. This was our 4th cruise. 2 on rccl and 1 on carnival. I have to say this was a great cruise. We have never gotten on a ship so fast from start to finish it was about 15 minutes. The food was very good we only eat at the buffets and had all our meals there and for the most part everything was very good, I gained 9 pounds. We had a ...

Overall, my husband and I had an enjoyable time on this cruise. However, Princess Cruise lines and the Crown Princess have several areas on which they need to improve if they want to keep customers. My husband has traveled on many cruises with his family over the past 10 years, so he is able to compare his experiences. The embarkation was very easy. It was much easier than I remember on a ...

This was surely one of the best cruises I have been on. This was my 7th cruise and I've previously been on HAL, Costa, Royal Caribbean and Princess. Although HAL still gets brownie points for being the best in service and overall cruise experience, Princess comes very close. Embarkation at the Brooklyn cruise terminal was a breeze. We arrived at 1pm and were on the ship in about 20 minutes. The ...

My wife and I are in our mid thirties with children. We took this our second cruise without our kids. Our pervious cruise was with Royal Caribbean on a five night to Bermuda. My hope in writing this is that it helps others trying to decide if this cruise would be for them, and or what to expect once onboard. I know the reviews helped us. We are a middle class family who hold what I would say ...

Just a short preface to the review; we had a great cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would sail on the Crown Princess and with Princess Cruises again. This was our 5th Princess Cruise and our 8th cruise overall and we are comfortable with and enjoy the overall Princess experience the most. Our other cruises have been with NCL, RCCL and Celebrity and whilst we had a great time on each ...

First let me say that we had a wonderful cruise on the Crown! This was our first cruise on Princess, having only cruised on HAL, we did alot of comparing of the two lines. I have to say they are more different than we anticipated. Embarkation: Our cruise had quite a stressful start. We utilized the NE Motorcoach through Princess, we've done this before (with HAL) & it's easy & cheaper than ...
