HORRIBLE Service aboard Sunshine Vessel

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We choose this cruise because some dear friends of ours were renewing their vows for their 25th anniversary. This was the worse Carnival experience ever! The shower curtain was too short and water flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. Consequently, we had to request extra towels to place on the floor to absorb the water. We pre-ordered a case of water and did not receive it until ...

Overall Very Nice Cruise

Overall very nice trip on the Sunshine. As many mentioned in prior reviews ship itself is actually over 20 years old but received a major update in 2013. The ship does show its age such as rust around balcony edges and windows but nothing to severe. The additions to the ship in 2013 such as Water Works, Sports Deck, updated bars and overall updated interior make a huge difference. Inside of ...

I've been on about 15 cruises, the majority with Carnival. This one was not great, but not bad either. Ship ----- To tight, upper decks with congested walkways Nice 2.0 amenities, but takes up to much space on the pool deck A bigger pool was needed before bars and burgers Cabin ------- Old and warn out looking Clean Dining -------- Steak House was good, but not ...

Not the best...

I'm only talking about the bad, not the good, since the good is expected on any cruise....and I didn't experience any extra-good. The bathroom at my cabin was horrible, terrible smell, black dust on toilet, we even had a leakage(they fixed this in 1 hour). DON'T waste your money buying the Premium Internet package, is not different from the social, which is also GARBAGE....you are barely ...

This is my families eight cruise seven on Carnival and one on Royal Caribbean. On this cruise we left out of New York on the Carnival Sunshine For Puerto Rico,ST Thomas and Grand Turk, our cabin was 6146 We purchased the Faster to the Fun option which was worth the money for embarkation and debarkation but on the ship for the Faster to the Fun was useless for Excursions. They would change ...

Cons: 1. When you sail out of NY, the cheers program doesn't go into effect till the following day, so you have to pay for all drinks on day 1 out of NY. (Major disappointment) 2. Some passengers were ghetto. Ex. cursing around kids, we heard 2 guys saying the "n" word around my kids; running and stomping through the halls late at night/ early in the a.m., screaming in the halls. There was ...

We booked this cruise as a family cruise for my husband's 50th birthday. This is our 3rd Carnival Cruise, having sailed Norwegian, Disney and Royal Caribbean multiple times. The Sunshine has been recently refurbished, thus resembling most of the other "Fun Ships" in the fleet. When we first boarded the ship, I wasn't sold on the boat's design, but as the cruise progressed, it did not ...

I want to congratulate you for having Allegria Dou... My family danced every night.. They welcomed us like we were their friends... When I was feeling disappointed due to the cabin I had. We were placed in a cabin that was too small for three adults, plus no real bed for my friend to sleep. A very small mattress was on a tilted plastic frame placed on the floor. Patrick was very helpful trying ...

We departed from Manhattan which was great, since we live in NY. Embarkation was a little over an hour from dropping off my bags, getting room keys, and actually getting onboard. The ship was great! We loved the staff and our cruise director Emma was hilarious and full of energy. They had plenty of activities onboard to entertain you everyday. Once we got to our first port, Old San Juan, it ...
