I have to say that Carnival's customer service is the worst I have experienced anywhere. To sum it all up Customer experience ranks low on their to do list. I've never felt more insignificant when dealing with Carnival's customer service team both when I booked my cruise and after I boarded the Carnival Splendor. Which by the way is not so Splendid. If you like mediocre food and entertainment then ...
They are called "carnival" for a reason....It was run like one! A disorganized, low budget event!!!
I've cruised 5 other times, and I will NEVER EVER travel on a carnival cruise ship ever again!!!! The ship is the most boring ship ever!! I travelled with my "active" parents and our 10 year old granddaughter...........and there is basically NOTHING for them to do on this ship!!!!! Its ALL mid 20 ...
Myself, my husband, and my sister and her husband went on this cruise. I have cruised many times before, but this was the absolute worst. The service desk person (Supervisor) was very rude. The restaurant person Jose was even more rude, and argumentative stating "i don't care over and over". First off, the security of taking and bringing items on this ship was lacking. People were allowed to take ...
It took forever to get through the lines at the terminal. By the time I got on the ship, I barely had time to grab something to eat because it was time for the Muster Drill. Bad start! The drill took twice as long as usual because they did it in English then in French!

I wanted to leave a review because my cruise experience was OK (on a lower end of it). First I would like to talk about good(OK) points of the trip:
• Housekeeping service was excellent! My housekeeper learned my name the first day. He also figured out my schedule the next day, so his work was seamless to me as he worked while I was either having a breakfast or at a dinner time.
• Entertainment ...
My wife and I went on this cruise because we were celebrating our 52nd anniversary and my wife being cancer free for 5 yrs. We were led to believe this would be a quiet and relaxing cruise. It was a disaster, it appeared that half the passengers were unsupervised tweens and teens. They ran thru the halls at all hours of the day and night, swearing and yelling, they took room service cards off ...
Plain and simple..Carnival will NOT be able to compete in NYC with the NCL Breakaway now here and the RCL Quantum of the Seas coming soon.
This ship was brought here to increase Carnival's share out of NYC. One would think they would have refurbished the ship..at least a little?. Although everything was clean, the ship looks worn and shabby. I mean c'mon ..at least new carpets? !!!
The food in ...
Let me give you a little background first. I am a 42 year old women who traveled with my husband (46) and children (17/15). We had a total of 12 people in our group.
The embarkment process was the only part that went smoothly everything went down hill from that point on.
Lets start with breakfast: poor service long wait times to get any service at the tables in the sit down breakfast. Food was ...
