A wonderful family trip

My wife and I, my parents and my two teenage kids took this cruise to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Since mom and dad paid for the trip as a gift to us I opted for Carnival for the exceptional value they offer- did not want to break dad's bank. Getting to the ship at the pier in NY was a breeze and embarking the ship was oh so easy and smooth. The boat is very beautiful ...

My partner and I and another couple just came back from Carnival Miracle Cruise that left out of NYC and went to San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, & Grand Turk. Overall, we had a good time. Here are the Pros and Cons to our trip as I saw them. Pros: - Ship was nicely decorated and very clean. - Our room was very clean and always adequately re-cleaned twice a day. - Our floor steward was ...

As a heads up as to how I am writing this review, two years prior to this cruise we had gone on Norwegian Dawn and liked it, so throughout this trip we were always comparing the two ships, there positives and negatives. We found embarkation to be oddly easy and stress free. While we did wait a bit in the waiting area for our group, the lines never seemed to get long and when we finally did go ...

My girlfriend and I just came back from our 8 day cruise on the Miracle from NY to San Juan, PR; St Thomas, USVI; & Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos. Embarkation and debarkation were really easy. No issues at all. No problems sneaking booze on either. Our room was an aft view extended balcony (Room 7300). The view was great and we will definitely look for this type of room again. The balcony ...

Some good and some not so good things

We were on the NCL EPIC in June and loved the ship. Going on Carnival only 2 months later was a risk. And even though there were some really nice things on the Miracle, it just couldn't compare with the EPIC. We really liked leaving from Manhattan because you can get a really nice view of the buildings. After NY, we were in the middle of the Atlantic ocean until our first stop 2 and a half ...

I will make it nice and easy for everyone that reads this by putting this under headings. I will probably post pictures and a more detailed review in the main forum. Food - Really really good, and I am a foodie. Very few dishes were not to my liking, the breakfasts were definitely the worst part but the dinners in the MDR were amazing! We had anytime dining and we never had a wait. On another ...

My wife and I took our 2nd Carnival cruise in as many years after sailing the Glory last year. I was looking forward to comparing the two classes of ships and see how they stacked up to each other. I had heard so much how the layout of the Spirit class was top notch, and after being frustrated by the layout of the Glory, I was very interested in seeing for myself. So the theme of my review is ...

We have traveled on approximately 26 cruises, so we are definitely seasoned cruisers. We have.gone with our children and without. Also usually have Cruised during high peak times (school vacations) The Carnival Miracle fell far below our expectations. Embarkation Leaving out of NYC was terrific. We parked the car and got right on the boat. Accommodations We were very ...

Just returned from the Miracle's 8/2/12 cruise. The Miracle is a lovely ship well maintained, generally everything in working order. VIP embarkation was smooth and stress less. Debarkation was not quite so stress free but close. Our cabin was fairly spacious, the bathroom contained a whirlpool tub. Plenty of storage. Very comfortable. The state room staff were friendly and very helpful. The ...

Got back from our first cruise on Carnival Miracle August 2 and we loved it! My oldest daughter cruised on Carnival Freedom last year but this was the first cruise for me, my other two daughters and my sister. We stayed in cabins 1204 and 1208 and had an oceanview room. The window was nice and big and we were able to see the ocean from our window. It was especially exciting to see land after ...
