Wonderful experience aboard the Miracle

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Miracle

As I read through previous reviews about the Miracle, I began to second guess myself regarding my upcoming cruise. I am happy to report that just as so many people have reported before "A cruise vacation is what you make of it". Embarkation was organized and I listened to those who suggested that you arrive early my daughter and I arrived by 10:30am. We didn't board until 12:30 and went ...

Carnival Miracle - OK, but this one a little flawed.

OK, I have to be fair with this review. After 8 previous cruises, I've come to the realization that there will always be some minor things that can and will go wrong. One can dwell on that and have a lousy cruise, or, just roll with things and have a good time. Hey, no matter how much you want to nitpick, remember, you're on a cruise, people are cleaning up after you, cooking for you, ...

To stay clear(ish) of Hurricane Sandy Carnival rescheduled us to leave New York a day early and swap out San Juan and St Thomas for Port Canaveral and nassau. This extra day would be free of charge but came at the expense of the previous itinerary who lost 2 of 3 ports and a day of cruising. Departed NYC at 5pm (an hour earlier than scheduled), the last minute schedule changes had us a bit ...

We have been on twelve other cruises, first time on Carnival. All in all, our entire cruise was a great time. The food was good, cabin steward for 8126 (Vergilio Moran) was very attentive and helpful; waiter and assistant (Vordon and Pui) in anytime dining were excellent, remembering our personal tastes; and Danielle, a gal of all trades, was excellent and everywhere. Bartender in the Atrium ...

My partner and I and another couple just came back from Carnival Miracle Cruise that left out of NYC and went to San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, & Grand Turk. Overall, we had a good time. Here are the Pros and Cons to our trip as I saw them. Pros: - Ship was nicely decorated and very clean. - Our room was very clean and always adequately re-cleaned twice a day. - Our floor steward was ...

As a heads up as to how I am writing this review, two years prior to this cruise we had gone on Norwegian Dawn and liked it, so throughout this trip we were always comparing the two ships, there positives and negatives. We found embarkation to be oddly easy and stress free. While we did wait a bit in the waiting area for our group, the lines never seemed to get long and when we finally did go ...

My wife and I, my parents and my two teenage kids took this cruise to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Since mom and dad paid for the trip as a gift to us I opted for Carnival for the exceptional value they offer- did not want to break dad's bank. Getting to the ship at the pier in NY was a breeze and embarking the ship was oh so easy and smooth. The boat is very beautiful ...

Just returned from the Miracle's 8/2/12 cruise. The Miracle is a lovely ship well maintained, generally everything in working order. VIP embarkation was smooth and stress less. Debarkation was not quite so stress free but close. Our cabin was fairly spacious, the bathroom contained a whirlpool tub. Plenty of storage. Very comfortable. The state room staff were friendly and very helpful. The ...

Took my 12 yr old grand daughter on her first cruise. It was my 4th one, 1st with Carnival. I got on the ship about 1:00. Of course we ate first. It was hot on the pool deck & I had jeans & short sleeve top with sneakers & we wanted to go in the pool. We kept going to the room to look for our luggage. 6:30 we finally went and got our own luggage & it took two trips to find it all. Our cabin must ...
