This cruise was VERY hard to rate. The layout of the ship, the food, the service and the comedy and magic entertainment were all very good. The itinerary was good in Newport, Boston, St. John and Quebec -- otherwise there wasn't a lot more to see. Unfortunately there were numerous sour notes.
The ship was old but mostly well maintained. In our cabin, however, the mattress was nearly worn ...
My third time on this ship, this time from New York to Quebec. Ship has not aged well. Elevators out of service for months, thermostat in room broken - took 3 days to fix. Medallion had to be replaced 3 times. No maple syrup or real horseradish on the ship. Not only is there not traditional dining, you have to remember who you gave your special dietary order to the night before - really? When ...
We chose this 10-day cruise because of the US and Canadian east coast itinerary.
We gave this cruise a “three” rating because of the entire cruise experience, from leaving our home, the cruise and the trip back to our home. To be fair to Princess cruise line, Hurricane Fiona decided to create havoc to the schedule. We were only able to visit three of our seven scheduled ports because of ...
Wanted to see New York, Newfoundland. Too many sea days . Too cold to go on pool deck. (My fault for not doing better homework) . No enclosed pool or heated pools. Missed first port in Greenland due to rough water, 4 days of Fog day and night. Really unless your into Geography or Inuit heritage there is not much to see in Greenland. Did see icebergs. No sea life . Did not see any whales ...
My Husband & I had never been to the East Coast and I was excited to see the fall colors. We are both history buffs and I wanted to explore the history of this region.
Our room was excellent and my favorite which is the last balcony on floor 14 as the balcony is a bit larger and the view is better for me. Our room Stuart was excellent. The bed and pillows were very nice. Room service in ...
This cruise is not my favourite itinerary but we did want to see the East Coast, especially New York and Quebec and both were fabulous. Could not get into Bar Harbor or St. John due to rough seas. I would have rather gone in September for better weather. The staff were all awesome except for our room steward who was not that great. We had an accessible room and it was fabulously large as was ...
Chose the cruise to see the leaves changing in new england and to relax. Seems like we had the “B” team on the cruise....there was a noro virus outbreak on the cruise prior to ours, so boarding was delayed for the ship to be sanitized...when we got to our cabin we found someones 1/2 drunk sprite in our mini fridge and their shampoo cap on the shower floor...clearly our bathroom and fridge wasn't ...
We took this cruise because we wanted to see Fall foliage, enjoy some cool weather and visit a part of the country we hadn’t yet visited. The ship went to great measures to avoid a repeat of an apparent increase in the level of GI outbreak they experienced on the previous cruise. Crew was constantly wiping down, and no passengers were allowed to handle buffet serving utensils for nearly ...
The itinerary was great. Food quality was not the same as it has been before when we sailed in 2016 with Caribbean Princess.
- [ ] New York receiving people are not very helpful
- [ ] Once onboard the Safety training had nothing to do with safety
- [ ] Food was not up to past princess sailings
- [ ] Sanitizing was way out of control. Sinks in fresh market slowed the process.
- [ ] ...
My wife and I wanted to do a different cruise this year so we decided on the New England to Quebec cruise. After looking at several cruise lines we choose Princess because of the itinerary and the reputation.
We arrived 2 days early in New York and stayed in Brooklyn not far from the cruise terminal which worked out great, as we could drop our bags in the morning and then take the NYC Ferry to ...
