Scenic New England and Canada Fall Cruise

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We had been planning with some friends of doing a New England Fall colors tour for more than a year and selected this cruise due to (1) reasonable cost and (2) itinerary and (3) prior experience with Princess. We have always enjoyed Princess for it's service, dependable food, and moderate pricing. Some highlights of our cruise: A. We were a bit startled when we received an email about a day ...

My wife and I wanted to do a different cruise this year so we decided on the New England to Quebec cruise. After looking at several cruise lines we choose Princess because of the itinerary and the reputation. We arrived 2 days early in New York and stayed in Brooklyn not far from the cruise terminal which worked out great, as we could drop our bags in the morning and then take the NYC Ferry to ...

My cousin and roommate, Joan Ruxton, wanted a cruise up the east coast of North America to see the fall colours. I said I'd like to join her, but I told her, "It has to be a Princess ship', because I had so enjoyed my 15 day Princess cruise to Hawaii. Highlights of this latest cruise: 1st. Just being on the ocean would have been more than enough, however, on Princess much more was ...

Cabin experience was awful

We chose this cruise from vacations to go for a last minute trip. The price was really great and the destination was northeast and Canada. Embarking was super but the room was disappointing. Not for location, but for cleanliness. The rug in the room was old, stained and dirty. We did not bring slippers because we called princess earlier and the rep said all we had to do was ask. Well that proved ...

This was our 35th cruise and our first one on Princess in about ten years. We left from NY and stayed at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott the night before embarkation. The hotel was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. My brother and his wife traveled with us on this Canada cruise. We arranged though the hotel to get a van to take us to the port about noon and boarded with a short wait. The ...

First Princess experience mostly positive

Caribbean Princess seemed like a well-run and well-kept ship. Even with our itinerary change due to Hurricane Dorian, things went smoothly and efficiently. The lackluster food was my only real issue, but even then, there were plenty of decent options. Embarkation in Brooklyn was smooth and quick with medallions. My only pet peeve was that the staff wouldn't accept my passport card for check-in ...

Greenland Experience

We received a Princess brochure which included Canadian Maritime Provinces and Greenland. It peaked our interest, particularly Greenland which is an unusual destination. We felt it would be an ideal place to visit before it shows up on more itineraries and gets overrun with "tourist" shops; jewelry stores and t shirt shops etc. The itinerary was 16 days, but only 6 ports, so a lot of sea days ...

Greenland Epic, Caribbean Princess Epic FAIL

This was truly the cruise of a lifetime as far as the destination is considered. Greenland did not disappoint for one minute. The weather on this voyage could not have been any more perfect. So much so that I wanted to book this cruise for next year, but will not push my luck and be thankful for the amazing time spent in Greenland and Canada. Let me just start by saying I am well aware that my ...

Greenland - one and done

Greenland has always been on my bucket list and when Princess announced they were doing a round-trip from New York with three port stops in Greenland, the price was a little high but I signed up immediately. We did get a substantial price drop, at the expense of my husbands AIB package. We have sailed the Caribbean Princess several times, she is and older ship and she tends to show her age, but ...

Princes Stubbed Its Toes On This One

We chose this cruise because of the Greenland destinations. Greenland has almost no tourist infrastructure and traveling both to there and while there is difficult. We wanted to compare Greenland with Iceland. The embarkation process was very smooth. I did notice they took our pictures twice, once at the service agent counter, and again three minutes later upon entering the ship. We had ...
