Disappointed

Very disappointed, why 5 watch shops, ship not pretty as other royal ships, no good shows/entertainment, paying customers very rude, I will try different cruise line next year. Staff friendly. All shops same thing. Not enough of different things to drink. People in customs even rude. Nice and organized debarking. Casino very small and if you like quick hit games then that’s the casino for you. ...

Poor Quality food and rip-off activities

Food: Just an example, I love croissants and I tried all days for 12 days in hope it will get better but couldn't take more than 2 bites. The only ship where it was so bad and I have taken 15+ cruises. Main dining room food is almost tasteless, luckily buffet had more and better choices. Activities: Northstar, SkyDive and surfing although presented as free but very limited free spots and ...

VERY OVERRATED SHIP

The ship common areas are too small for amount of passengers lineups for every thing even if you have reservations ,bars small and noisy can not here performers because of back ground noise seats in theater very low hard on back also Royal Caribbean caters to some of their clients with holding seats for shows and closing off venues for their use only, leaving the mass of great unwashed to fend for ...

7 nights 80+ temps - $200 'compensation' for ruined cruise

We choose RCI Anthem of the Seas for several reasons 1) we could drive to the port, it was 2.5 hours away. 2) the itinerary that went to San Juan, St Kitts, and Barbados where we have never been to 3) it was with Royal Caribbean - we thought a quality cruise line. Being the 1st time on such a large ship, we were awed by the size, and cleanliness of the crew. We were worried we would ...

Bigger is Not Always Better

We've cruised 20+ times, maybe 8 times with RCL. We chose this big ship because of the Caribbean ports on the itinerary, because we found a 'deal' on the price and because we wanted to check out this giant marvel of a ship with every sort of bell and whistle: bumper cars, rock climbing wall, iFly [skydiving tube], NorthStar [elevated look out] etc. The ship is beautiful. The ports, particularly ...

Very limited variety of food. The temperature of the food is way off. On a few occasions we found lipstick marks on the "clean" cups. Very crowded with lines for everything. Cabins are small and very uncomfortable. the Sofa bed for 3rd person is very hard to sleep on. The stateroom service is OK, but you always have to ask them for shampoo or glasses etc. Bad attitude from some members of the ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Vision of the Seas

We chose the vision of the seas for its itinerary leaving from Bayonne, NJ and sailing fourteen days to Galveston, Texas. We were very unhappy with the pools and hot tubs. They had handicapped lifts that did not reach the wheelchair but were five feet into the air! The pool lift only reached into shallow water and would not reach into the pool itself. We have cruised on over 150 cruises ...

We sailed this cruise twice. 1st was 2/16 last was 4/17. The food you get with the cruise on our 1st cruise consisted of 4 seperate restaurants with 4 separate menus and the buffet. Out of 10, for our first cruise would have rated food a 7 and the pay for restaurants would have given a 9. On our last cruise they now have one menu to choose from between all 4 restaurants. Only about 30 to 40 % of ...

Disappointing cruise for a class ship

Relaxation and enjoyment, far from it. Tables in the Windjammer not cleaned off for available seating. Crew seemed to be understaffed for amount of guests on board. Servers were very lax in attending to seated guests. At one breakfast morning at approx.8:45 a.m. in the Windjammer there was no plain black tea available. When I asked a server at the coffee station he stated "try the other side", ...

NEW MODERN SHIP....BUT BORING, ONLY SALES, SALES, SALES

I choose the anthem because is new and in advertisements is seems really fun, but most of the shows were boring, the new 270 theater is uncomfortable and laking of life and fun. The restaurant is disorganized and the service poor, example: "first night our waiter was having a discussion with another waiter, so we got our food one our later, third nite, i want some regular bread or bun,but not the ...
