The new parking was nice and convenient. Check in was ok but could have been a little faster. Interior promenade cabin was nice and cabin steward was awesome. Dining room was excellent for dinner, breakfast and lunch. Diamond lounge was a little slow service but there were a lot of people. Plenty of activites on the ship and the cruise director and staff were very good. Internet service was ...

We enjoyed our 10 day cruise! Cabin was great, staff was fantastic, from cabin steward to Sky Bar bartenders! Dining room was very good, we ate there 6 of the 10 nights. Enjoyed Chops and Portofino as well, preferring Chops. Windjammer/Jade was fine for what it is. We expect the type of food served and it is what it is. Do order your eggs "to order" though, whether an omelette or fried eggs. ...

We haven't been on an RC cruise in 10 years and hadn't had a vaca in 5, so did this one up right. Booked a royal suite smack dab in the middle of the stern, all unlimited premium beverage packages, even parked our car in the airport close-in parking instead of long-term. We're going all out! The first thing we noticed was the upholstery in the suite, the couches both were so stained they were ...

9404 Cabin was roomy. Balcony larger than normal, however there is a beam that runs from above the door to the railing. Friend banged head on rail twice. The door was not a sliding door. Porthole window in place of patio style window/door. Decreased the view from the bed. Glass divider between the two balconies - no door to open. When I booked, representative on RCCL said there was a door ...

This was our second sailing on a Royal Caribbean ship. Our first was last year on Explorer. Overall we loved the ship, thought it was in great condition and had a lot to offer. This was the biggest ship we have ever sailed on and I have to say I think we would not sail on anything larger than this. If you were at one end of the ship and had to get to the opposite end you could tell how ...

By comparison, this cruise did not live up to the RCCL that I know!

The embarkation facility that was built in Bayonne is a beauty, but it's too bad that the hired local staff are not better trained to handle it. Embarkation was seriously slowed down because of lack of training. Both embarkation and debarkation staff could not answer simple questions without asking other staff members, many of whom didn't know the answers either. Having recently sailed on ...

This was my 33rd cruise, and around the 7th on Royal Caribbean. I've cruised on Norwegian, Celebrity, Carnival, Holland America and, although it doesn't exist anymore, the Bermuda Star. Though I can't say it was my best trip, it certainly wasn't my worst. I traveled with my husband, 2 daughters (ages 17 and 21) and my 87-1/2 year-old mother, and to say the least, we adore cruising! We had ...

A PLEASANT CRUISE

The vessel was clean but rust is starting to appear outside on the promenade deck around the life boat davits and piping. Crew service was very good except for the shops on board. The soft furnishings need to be redone as well as the interior decoration of the dining rooms, and the attempt at Modernism with the art work throughout the vessel should be done away with. The interior is starting ...

Disappointing cruise on the Liberty: not worth the money

We've cruise before and this cruise was totally disorganized. We basically paid Royal Carribean Price for a Carnival quality. Positive: -Embarcation and disembarkation were fast and easy. -Kid's activities were great. -Stateroom attendant and waiter were very nice and attentive -Labadee was wonderful. -They got rid of cork fees, so we brought our own wine for ...

Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful ship. It is laid out so that guests have easy access to most areas. I loved the Promenade in the middle of the ship. There are the usual stores where you can purchase clothes or souvenirs, a Ben & Gerrys, a pizza shop, plus a 24 hr coffee shop. The coffee shop was a favorite of mine and a nice place to meet friends. It has small sandwiches and desserts all ...
