I recently went on my first Royal Caribbean cruise. It was a nine day cruise out of Cape Liberty, NJ with ports in Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, Saint Johns, and Halifax. I was cruising with two couples. This particular cruise was chosen for the itinerary.

Embarkation was very smooth and did not take us too long to get through the lines and onto the ship.
Great crew. My ...
Food- Very disappointed with the food on the Liberty of the Seas. The food was terrible. The temperature of food in the Main Dining area was warm at best. Never hot. Beef was not edible. Looked like processed beef. Beef was full of fat and gristle that when you cut it out you had 4 bites of meat left. Steaks were 1/4" inch thick and like shoe leather. Lobster tail was tough and tasteless. Fish was ...
Overall we were very pleased with our sail. However, as long-time, experienced cruisers, we were somewhat disappointed with certain aspects of our cruise.
Staff:
Customer service by staff was outstanding. Special kudos to Verina Greaves, our stateroom attendant; Emelita Francisco, our Chops Grille waiter; Carlos, the server at Sorrento's Pizza; Fellington and Santosh, our waiters at ...
This was another bucket list trip that we just loved. October is the best time to do this cruise and we timed the leaf change just about right.
The ship was in great shape and the staff for the most part were friendly and responsive.
Our table mates were the hit of the week. Having cruised many times, we found this group of 8 to have had the most in common and RCCL matched us up perfectly ...
Did the 9 day New England and Canada cruise on the Liberty of the seas. Overall, a good cruise. I had never cruised on a larger ship like the Liberty before, but it was great. Checked in and on the ship in less than an hour. In stateroom by 1 PM. Had a stateroom with a balcony. Very comfortable, and our room attendant, Junior was great. Anything we needed, we got.

This was our first cruise from the very first moments of mass confusion once we boarded the ship set the tone for want was to follow for the next 10 days. There is very little, if any customer service available. The lines at the service desk were very long nearly every single day.
The ship is in need of some attention. Some of the seats in the pizza parlor were taped together with duct ...
Best part was Sam and Rig in the breakfast dining room. Our room attendant Clement was fabulous. We ate all our meals (except breakfast) in Windjammer everyday. The staff was wonderful. However the food was very disappointing. Variety was slim. The food wasn't always prepared to perfection.
The shows were exceptional.
The day we disembarked we were put in a room and forgotten about. It felt ...
We drove from Annapolis, MD to Cape Liberty in 3 hours.
being a Gold member, we were on the ship on 30 minutes, checking in at 12 noon.
Windjammer was packed, but managed to find a table.
Stateroom was ready by 2PM, luggage was already there.
On a wait list for first seating in dining room until sailing date, but got it.
First full day was at sea; time to relax for 4 continuous ...
My wife and I sailed on the Liberty of the Seas (LOTS) from Bayonne, NJ on October 3. This was supposed to be a 5 night cruise to Bermuda, but due to Hurricane Joaquin our itinerary was changed at the last moment and we were diverted to St. John, Canada instead. We have cruised many times in the past, including trips to both Bermuda and St. John, so for us this change was no issue. Our vacation ...
