Solid ship with excellent crew
"The pickup location for the regular (not private) Amigo small group tours was very easy to find, so if you have a private tour booked for just your family and find the map confusing, please just go to the first parking lot after you exit the terminal, where all the small group tour buses are located (you’ll see the tour company logos on the buses and employee shirts). There are several employees guiding passengers onto the Amigo group tour buses, and they will have one person walk you to the pickup location for the Amigo private tours (it’s further away from where the group tours meet...."Read More

Rust Bucket!!

Review for Adventure of the Seas to Caribbean - All

This was our first cruise. Very disappointing. The ship either needs to be refurbished or cut up for scrap! Very poor maintenance. Rust everywhere. Windows dirty. Railing dried out, splintered. Window trim rotted. They were always working on one elevator. Windjammer restaurant a zoo! Limited seating. Went to the dining room. It had better food and great service. Ship store limited ...

Older traditional ship/fantastic itinerary Western Caribbean and the Americas

We wanted this itinerary for its stops in South and Central America and that was the right thing for us to do, as we've been to the Caribbean so many time. Roatan was a highlight as was Costa Rica, but the Panama Canal is a LONG and mostly boring way to get to the Pacific Ocean. We did by Excursion and glad we did, once you have gone on a canal cruise in Europe, it's the same experience and not ...

This is a ship that is in decent condition that can take you to some very lovely destinations. As long as you have reasonable expectations, you can have a very nice vacation on Adventure of the Seas. The crew was excellent, and went out of their way to try to make this a wonderful vacation. We are traveling as a family, with 3 children aged 3.7 and 11 at the time of sailing. We chose this ...

Neglected old ship. Very disappointed.

We traveled with another couple and chose this cruise mainly because we wanted to leave from NJ and not have to fly to Florida to catch a Caribbean cruise; and also we liked the ports of call. Unfortunately we were disappointed in many respects. Starting with the embarkation terminal in Bayonne NJ, which had poor road signage leading up to it, so that we circled around this industrial area for 20 ...

Decent cruise great fellow passengers

We’re supposed to go on anthem in January but canceled because of Covid-19. Fully vaccinated and boosted but concerned about cases onboard and supposed to be 150 quarantine cases onboard many masks by cruise end. Ship was 2,400 onboard many fun active passengers dancing opportunities were well attended. Too little day opportunities though. Too much karaoke, boring unless you drink too much and ...

First cruise post covid19 and great group of fellow passengers! Many different ages. We’re age 65 plus and love to dance and enjoy Zumba line dancing theme parties etc. Enjoyed the chances we had but RCL seems to be cutting back on that stuff. RCL had so much karaoke. Great for whoever enjoyed it. B Bermuda forms were a mess. Had to get to airport for testing as testing results didn’t come in ...

Underwhelming experience

Even a mediocre cruise is great when compared to being at work, that said we have had better times the last two summers on NCL. Overall we had a good time, but I dont think anything stood out as much better than NCL. Unfortunately a few areas did seem noticeably worse. Room steward did his job, but there was almost no engagement. He didnt even say hello until the second day. On NCL we were ...

Amazing first time cruise for my daughter!

This was my 10 year old's first cruise, and it was amazing for her! I have been on multiple cruise lines, but have always enjoyed RCL most of all. The ship, though approaching 20 years old, is still in amazing shape. Our cabin, 8522, was great, and the only problem we had was that the couch was dirty, rock hard and broken, and really unusable. Everything else on the cruise was amazing. One ...

Great trip on the Adventure of the Seas!

We traveled with a group of 12 people ranging from 24-84 years old. Frequent cruisers, prefer Royal Caribbean but have been on Disney, Norwegian, Carnival, Princess, and Celebrity. We choose this trip based on departure port as well as the new private island. Embarkation was a very smooth process, took a maximum of 15 minutes. We purchased the Ultimate Drink Package before boarding and ...

Family and I love cruising and do so often. I've been cruising since I was a teen and have continued that tradition with my family. (My kids are now teens themselves - how is that possible?!) We've cruised Royal Caribbean many times, last time on the Anthem. It was nice to go back to the smaller ship. We love the layout of the Adventure and ships similar to her. Overall, the ship is in ...
