Horrendous Service on Quantum of the Seas

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

If You Still Can Cancel Your Reservation on This Ship... it's understaffed, poorly trained crew makes for an awful cruise experience. I'm a Diamond Member so I've been on a ton of Royal Caribbean cruises and always loved them in the past... until now. I have always praised Royal Caribbean service to the highest to friends and family. But not anymore, the service on this service was ...

Over priced and over hyped; there are much better choices.

Summary: Our 10th cruise. It's not that everything was terrible, but the overall cruising experience was poor and there are much better choices. If you want to pay $4,000 for a $2,000 cruise, then this is your ship. Take Oasis if you want a great experience. Over hyped: Virtual balcony: Pointless. It does not give one the feeling of a balcony. At dusk, the camera is so insensitive ...

Waste of Time and Money

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

Lousy service, horrible itinerary, average food and lines for everything. This ship is no WOW! Dynamic Dining is a mess. The free restaurants are mediocre and have nowhere near the ambiance of the one big grand restaurant that the older ships have. I am been on over 10 Royal Caribbean cruises and this was by far the worse ship! Huge disappointment. ...

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise and after almost 10 cruises under our belt this was by far the worst experience ever!. To top it off this was our Honeymoon cruise and not one member of the crew ever even congratulated us or even acknowledged that it even after we told them it was our honeymoon. With the exception of the Bartender in the casino Bar Jayho ( not sure how to spell it) and ...

Horrible and Expensive Nightmare

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

This review is of course going to all be based on the fact that I got sick but its a combination of a lot during this cruise that also helped make it a miserable vacation. This ship is all media hyped. The dynamic dining is atrocious and only causes a whole lot of confusion and disorganization. A quick example would be Chops grill. This is a restaurant where you have to pay to dine there. My ...

Do not waste your vacation days on this ship

This review is for the Quantum of the Seas ship. My family of four sailed from Feb 20th-March 1st. I am a seasoned cruiser and have sailed many different times on Royal Caribbean, as well as a number of other lines (crystal, ncl, princess, carnival, holland, and wind song). To be honest I have cruised so much on royal I am a diamond member. This vacation was terrible, and if anyone has children ...

Worst cruise ever; do not waste your vacation money.

If your a first time cruiser, or do not cruise often, or tolerate long lines / waits at amusement parks, you may want to bypass this review. My remarks will likely only be appreciated by individuals who cruise a lot and have higher expectations for a return on vacation dollars spent. Extremely disappointing RCL has now had since November 2014 (4 months) to address much of the below, but ...

Worst Cruise Ever

I don’t even know where to start and how to start! We have been a loyal Royal Caribbean guest since December 2001, sailed with Royal Caribbean in 6 different cruises, including Quantum of the Seas, and never have a thought of looking for another carrier for our cruise vacations, up until now, after what we have experienced onboard the Quantum of the Seas... Royal Caribbean International ...

After 46 cruises on various lines all over he world (in more recent years mostly on Celebrity, a RCI company) we have a pretty good overview on cruising. The Quantum is a gorgeous ship, especially dazzling because it's brand new. We took a veranda stateroom (8596), it seemed spacious and exceedingly well laid our. The balcony was large enough to hold two recliners with footrests and a small table. ...

Royal Caribbean has said this was the epitome of the new cruise ships and that they are going further along this vain. In my opinion, the new standard should be called "Minimalist" since that is what the regular passenger gets. One step above nothing. This new ship is purported to be paperless and that would be great if all the computer things worked all the time. All the server people are using ...
