Probably my last with RCCL

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

I would really like to give 1.5 stars, so I bumped it up to 2. I was overall pretty disappointed with this cruise. I just felt it was really lacking, and quite honestly, I felt like I was on Carnival a good majority of the time. And it seems as though that was the crowd that RCCL may have been shooting for. Embarkation/Debarkation: One of not many positives, but easily the best experience ...

Ok, but Not Worth the Money

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We haven't been on an RC cruise in 10 years and hadn't had a vaca in 5, so did this one up right. Booked a royal suite smack dab in the middle of the stern, all unlimited premium beverage packages, even parked our car in the airport close-in parking instead of long-term. We're going all out! The first thing we noticed was the upholstery in the suite, the couches both were so stained they were ...

By comparison, this cruise did not live up to the RCCL that I know!

The embarkation facility that was built in Bayonne is a beauty, but it's too bad that the hired local staff are not better trained to handle it. Embarkation was seriously slowed down because of lack of training. Both embarkation and debarkation staff could not answer simple questions without asking other staff members, many of whom didn't know the answers either. Having recently sailed on ...

Overpriced and Dissapointed

In 2014 we sailed on the Carnival Liberty. We were not liking the new American Table menu with fewer choices available in the master dining room and service last year was very slow so we decided to give Royal a try. We have been on the Explorer of the seas approx. 6 years ago and had a very positive experience. The ship was a older back then but the food and entertainment we enjoyed. Fast ...

Gotta Sail Like a Norwegian, 9 Day Bermuda and Caribbean Cruise

It's pretty sad that your concluding statement after an RCI cruise is "Gotta Sail Like a Norwegian" but it's true. FOOD Royal Caribbean's food was good, 10 yrs ago. Cruise food = good. Food now? RAWR. Lack of variety as people say everywhere in the reviews everywhere. The selections in soup are VERY limited (on some days they're not even available during lunch). Aged Hand-Cut Manhattan ...

Let me say the itinerary was great. The ports were beautiful and the excursions we took were absolutely worth the effort and prices. I have been on 13 cruises and 5 with RCL. This was by far the worst RCL ship I have ever experienced. The biggest issue seems to be the crew just passing time, with a few standouts that try to make your experience great. My response to RCL is WOW how your ...

DON'T CARE FOR ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

The food was mediocre at best, the itinerary was boring, the entertainment (with the exception of the Ice Show) was laughable, and the casino was very disappointing! The public areas of the ship were well maintained and clean. Aesthetically, the cabin (balcony room) was okay. However, I almost got scalded in the shower on several occasions (maintenance fixed the problem), and then, one night ...

Really disappointed in the Liberty of the Seas, and Royal Caribbean in general.

This cruise was the 3rd for my wife and I (all on RC), and it was the second time we have taken this itinerary from NJ. We previously did it in 2012 on The Explorer of the Seas. In general my wife and I enjoyed ourselves.. but that was in spite of numerous issues we had on and off the ship. I will say right now that I can not recommend this ship and will never step onboard again. I also will ...
