Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

I chose this cruise because it was going to Haiti and Dominican Republic, some of the elevator buttons don’t work, some of the elevator call buttons don’t work. The carpets have fade marks on them as if someone vomited on them. (9th floor aft lobby). The electronics in the room are dated No USB plug ins. And they claim that medium shrimp are Tiger shrimp or Jumbo. The only way to get smaller ...

We don't like flying so this ship sails out of the NY area. The ship itself is starting to look a bit worn. Our Balcony cabin was very nice. Every time you called the front desk from our room there was always a few minute wait. This carried on though out the ship as it holds 4,600 guest and 1500 crew. Anywhere you went on the ship you were always bucking big crowds. Especially at dinner, we ...

This 9 night cruise has me very torn…first off, I’m still on the ship. We return tomorrow and I’m kind of cruised out. We had a great time but there are a few things that weren’t as expected. First off, this is my 5th RC cruise. My expectations were high as I’ve had such wonderful experiences on my past cruises. Getting on the ship in Bayonne was perfect. We arrived at the port at 10 am. ...

Embarkation was very smooth, one of quickest ever had. Cabins were not opened until 1:30 pm we were onboard before noon. Since you do not get your onboard cards until get to room you use your cabin number to charge drinks until then. Menus and most information all on RCL App with they tell you is mandatory to download before cruising. Pays to do it as speeds embarkation too. Yes you can cruise ...

Went on the 9 day Eastern Caribean cruise to Bermuda, Labadee, La Romana and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. While the cruise was nice and we had good weather, there lacks the specialness of pre-pandemic cruising. Still had a good time but things could be better. Pluses: We had a balcony which is always the best way to go if you can afford it Crew was always friendly with a ...

Nice Ship, Nice Cruise but food needs improvement

This was our second sailing on a Royal Caribbean ship. Our first was last year on Explorer. Overall we loved the ship, thought it was in great condition and had a lot to offer. This was the biggest ship we have ever sailed on and I have to say I think we would not sail on anything larger than this. If you were at one end of the ship and had to get to the opposite end you could tell how ...

Disappointing cruise on the Liberty: not worth the money

We've cruise before and this cruise was totally disorganized. We basically paid Royal Carribean Price for a Carnival quality. Positive: -Embarcation and disembarkation were fast and easy. -Kid's activities were great. -Stateroom attendant and waiter were very nice and attentive -Labadee was wonderful. -They got rid of cork fees, so we brought our own wine for ...

A Tale of two cruises

It was the best of cruises, it was the worst of cruises. My wife and I were on our 5th cruise in the past 5 years, multiple lines, but after cruising on Carnival we cam back to RCCL so that we could enjoy the service we expect when cruising. That would have been great, if it wasn't for the fact that 70-75% of the crew were on their first or second cruise. It also didn't help that there is ...

We got to the Port of Bayonne, after waiting for 45 minutes at the Parking Terminal for a bus to take us to the Embarkation terminal. It was Delta parking, so it had NOTHING to do withthe cruise. We waited on an extraordinary long line to check into the ship. We had previously been on the Quantum leaving from this terminal and we had the same issue. Check in took too long, as we are Emerald ...

It is OK for families but for seniors NO. Nothing interesting, no movies (except kiddie movies), cannot get lounge chair unless you get up at 7AM and save (supposely not allowed). waiting to eat, must make reservation (I could stay home and do that), There are buffets (also, I can stay home and do that). I want to be waited on. finally ate at 830PM. Had to see a show before we ate because ...
