The best part of this cruise was the two days in port at Bermuda. For the most part the food on this cruise was less than delectable. The upgraded meal at the reservation required restaurants was a bit pricey but better. The my time dining feature was horrible because there was always a twenty minute wait on a line to be seated. The cruise is targeted for the over 50 crowd, there was no sail ...
I would really like to give 1.5 stars, so I bumped it up to 2. I was overall pretty disappointed with this cruise. I just felt it was really lacking, and quite honestly, I felt like I was on Carnival a good majority of the time. And it seems as though that was the crowd that RCCL may have been shooting for.
Embarkation/Debarkation: One of not many positives, but easily the best experience ...
I chose this cruise line because it was based out of New Jersey, price was reasonable and we sailed to Bermuda. Well for starters, for the food at the WynnJammer was buffet style 4 out of 10. The dinner was ok, and that was only due to the Optimal service from Ruel and Jeanese. Next. The cabin, bed was as hard as an ironing board(cot), towels stained and the carpets in and out of the rooms ...
We haven't been on an RC cruise in 10 years and hadn't had a vaca in 5, so did this one up right. Booked a royal suite smack dab in the middle of the stern, all unlimited premium beverage packages, even parked our car in the airport close-in parking instead of long-term. We're going all out!
The first thing we noticed was the upholstery in the suite, the couches both were so stained they were ...
The embarkation facility that was built in Bayonne is a beauty, but it's too bad that the hired local staff are not better trained to handle it. Embarkation was seriously slowed down because of lack of training. Both embarkation and debarkation staff could not answer simple questions without asking other staff members, many of whom didn't know the answers either.
Having recently sailed on ...
Royal Caribbean's 5-day cruise to Bermuda October 17 to 22 on Liberty of the Seas was a frustrating and stressful experience for us almost from the beginning. This was not my first cruise, and that's a good thing, because I probably would not have wanted to cruise ever again.
And that would be a shame because our family has shared some absolutely wonderful cruises on other lines and often ...
My wife and I were looking forward to the trip as neither of us had been to Bermuda and that was the primary reason we had selected this sailing. Leading up to the trip, we started seeing reviews about the quality of the RCCL experience, but as a loyal RCCL cruiser, we just shook it off. We should have listen more. Overall, we saw a real degrade in food quality and service. Hopefully this is ...
We last sailed with RC out of Bayonne NJ on the Explorer in 2013 and enjoyed every facet of that particular cruise but, sadly, our experience on the Liberty was not the same. We just disembarked this morning after five nights and walked off the ship thoroughly disappointed.
Let's start with the boarding process - it takes forever to get up to the counter to obtain your SeaPass and it left us ...
As a diamond member i always enjoyed rccl..but this time around they fell short, very short of being a favoriite...let me begin by the good...embarking was well managed & even smooth....my balcony cabin was exceptional...nicely laid out decks....easy to locate various venues...
Now the not so good-----while the food looked good, it was far from being edible...more than once recieved the wrong ...
My daughter and I just returned from this cruise. We were anxious to go to Bermuda, and that was the best part of the cruise. We loved our time together (Mother/daughter) but it wasn't because of this cruise. Forget eating on this cruise. It's basically inedible, Vile, processed and tasteless. You can not overeat. The ships staff works hard at keeping the boat clean. the rooms clean. But they are ...
