Third time on Anthem - and she still has the charm

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We cruised with family - three couples. We loved the ship - our third time on Anthem! The good things: lots of activities and things to do on the ship: pickle ball, bumper cars, roller skating! Escape Room, i Fly, and the Northstar! The entertainment is first rate: Iconic band was extraordinary - there was not one song played that did not sound like the original artist - and they have nice ...

The excursions were fun and affordable. The ship's staff were friendly and seemed to work hard, however they seemed tense around the management. The tension gave a cold feeling to the cruisers. Room was nicely laid out, we had a balcony room. The room steward was wonderful. We didn't expect so many kids in January since there wasn't much for them to do, but there were many kids. The teenagers ...

This was our first cruise in 4 years & we had a wonderful time. It was our 3rd time on Anthem of the Seas. Our 19 year old son loves all the sports fun in the Seaplex, we liked the North Star experience, the shows, service, etc. Boarding the ship was done very efficiently. We had a balcony room that was really nice. The food choices have really been cut back, especially for the gluten free ...

We were part of a group that selected this ship, and we knew it was an older ship refurbished once years ago. We were on deck 6 and I usually select deck 8 and higher so expecting alot of noise from Promenade on Deck 5. Onboarding in Bayonne very quick and Windjammer crowded but we always got a table for breakfast or lunch. Our room w balcony large, clean and bed comfortable. Sheets looked ...

Honest Review of Liberty of the Seas

This was my first cruise since 2019, and my 13th overall. While I was used to the newer ships in the fleet, most prominently, Anthem of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas has a good amount of the amenities and activities that Anthem had. Unlike the rest of my cruises, this was the first one I went on without my parents and above the drinking age. I went with a group of my friends from high school as a ...

This is a repeat cruise having done this one 3 times. The cruise director Josh made it special and very entertaining. The shows are still good even after being I will rock you 3 times. The Mo5aic group was excellent. Our cabin steward was very attentive although we were starting to have stuffy noses at nights, from the carpets we guess. The food was the major detractor. this is our 7th cruise and ...

This is a ship that is in decent condition that can take you to some very lovely destinations. As long as you have reasonable expectations, you can have a very nice vacation on Adventure of the Seas. The crew was excellent, and went out of their way to try to make this a wonderful vacation. We are traveling as a family, with 3 children aged 3.7 and 11 at the time of sailing. We chose this ...

I originally booked an Oasis cruise in 2019 for 2020, fast forward post Covid and here we are, same ship but a slightly different 9 day itinerary than we first had. Cape Liberty was painless, we had a check in of 10am, arrived at the port at 9:40, dropped off our luggage and parked in the building lot next to the ship, we passed security got checked in and then sat and waited until the ship was ...

Booked this cruise as love royals attitude to cruising, but was a little disappointed with my experience on this ship, my travel agent found this cruise for us, didn't realise at the time that my favourite nights were no more, i loved formal nights, a time to dress your best along with most other passengers, the dress your best night was not the same as as a lot of passengers seem as bothered ,the ...

Convenient sailing departure port and we desired days at sea

We enjoyed our cruise very much the ship was beautiful and spotless. The ship had thousands of passengers but we never felt overcrowding even at the pool. We had no complaints about the dining--the food was not restricted--one could eat at different locations and times--all day and all evening. No dressing up unless desired. We had an inside cabin that was well appointed more spacious an ...
