Could of been great! Bermuda?

First cruise post covid19 and great group of fellow passengers! Many different ages. We’re age 65 plus and love to dance and enjoy Zumba line dancing theme parties etc. Enjoyed the chances we had but RCL seems to be cutting back on that stuff. RCL had so much karaoke. Great for whoever enjoyed it. B Bermuda forms were a mess. Had to get to airport for testing as testing results didn’t come in ...

We’re supposed to go on anthem in January but canceled because of Covid-19. Fully vaccinated and boosted but concerned about cases onboard and supposed to be 150 quarantine cases onboard many masks by cruise end. Ship was 2,400 onboard many fun active passengers dancing opportunities were well attended. Too little day opportunities though. Too much karaoke, boring unless you drink too much and ...

Great Destinations, very nice ship with a lot to offer.

This ship was nice! The destinations were great and the staff was amazing! The food was great, my only complaint about food is the Buffet closes at 8:30pm and Johnny Rockets is NOT complimentary. There is a lot to do on this ship, 3 pools total, a skydive experience, surf experience, and bumper cars in which you are only allowed to ride once. There is also a rock climb wall and the “North ...

OK Cruise, not too crowded, good shows, so-so food

Wanted a last-minute getaway where we could drive to the port. The ship was not very crowded due to COVID. This was a significant plus since it meant we could get a lounger by the pool. Easy to get into shows, easy and quickly to get on and off the ship at ports, etc. If the ship was at full capacity, I am pretty sure the ratings would have dropped. Loved almost all the shows. Usually, ...

Never going North to go South again!!

It was 11 nights, we usually enjoy time on the Ship and it was a good price. When we got off the plane, it was 27 and snowing. The next morning it was still snowing, it cost $65.00 to go 12 miles to the Ship. For the first 4 days, it was cold on the ship, once down in the Caribean, it was Great! On the return trip, we ran back into the cold, and that was when a Nor-Easter hit New York. The ...

We were happy that this was a 12 night cruise returning Christmas eve. The ports were amazing and while we like a smaller ship, they are sailing at 60% capacity and so it didn't feel crowded or uncomfortable even with Covid restrictions. The entertainment on this ship "we will rock you" and "Jersey Boys" makes up for the larger ship and the service as ever is perfect. Few food choices not great ...

Poor Quality food and rip-off activities

Food: Just an example, I love croissants and I tried all days for 12 days in hope it will get better but couldn't take more than 2 bites. The only ship where it was so bad and I have taken 15+ cruises. Main dining room food is almost tasteless, luckily buffet had more and better choices. Activities: Northstar, SkyDive and surfing although presented as free but very limited free spots and ...

Continuing Cruise Experience decline on Anthem OTS

(a) Excellently appointed ship. (b) Good itinerary. Suggest substituting CoCo Cay for San Juan. (c) Our balcony cabin assignment change WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE was disturbing. Frequent engine vibrations & high noise level in reassigned cabin. Sleeping Challenge. Reassigned cabin was too far from elevators - for walking challenge cruiser. Allegedly, our selected cabin was reassigned ...

First off, I did not sail in 2022, but cruise critic will not let me select an earlier date. I sailed on March 1st, 2020. Now the title makes more sense? As we all know, at this point in history, covid-19 was in the news, but at this point, not wide spread in the United States, thanks to our wonderful politicians. The trip was very close to being postponed or cancelled all together, but ...

VERY OVERRATED SHIP

The ship common areas are too small for amount of passengers lineups for every thing even if you have reservations ,bars small and noisy can not here performers because of back ground noise seats in theater very low hard on back also Royal Caribbean caters to some of their clients with holding seats for shows and closing off venues for their use only, leaving the mass of great unwashed to fend for ...
