Great repo cruise with less desirable ports

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

We wanted a cruise with a lot of sea days, at about this time. The ship and crew were wonderful as always. The ship is in good shape. The decor is dated, but not at all worn. The crew is amazing as always. The cabin was great. A concierge cabin on deck 6 in the suite area, it had a larger than usual balcony and a great stateroom attendant. I would recommend it. We particularly liked ...

So we were on the back to back cruise from Bayonne down to San Juan and then down to Caribbean for the next 7 days. Boarding process was simple and quick and we were on board by 11:00. The ship itself is a pleasure to be on board. There are signs of age from the ship but nothing that would put me off returning to the ship. Pros - Both the Oceanview Cafe and Main Dining Room offer amazing ...

Great ship with so many activities to participate in

I chose it so my teenage grandkids could do a variety of activities. They loved it and even their father who was 50 years old did a bunch of the activities like rock climbing and virtual sky gliding and virtual surfing. It was fun watching them have a ball. The stops were also interesting. But the boat was the best part. Even though there was a lot of people on the boat it did not seem ...

This was a nice opportunity to cruise on a very large ship from a port within driving distance. The ship was beautiful. Our State Room was close to the elevator and had a virtual balcony. This was actually very nice. It made you forget it wasn't a real window. Cabin's are roomy. Our dining room was the Grande. The food was great and the service was wonderful. There were lots of things to do. We ...

My husband and I chose this cruise line because it is kids friendly. The ship is huge, our cabin and all other facilities were well maintained. Dining areas clean and a wide variety of International cuisines with great services and friendly crew members. On our last night we had our International dish, jerked chicken, rice & peas with plantains. My husband and I felt at ease when our boys weren't ...

A cruise, like life, is what you make of it. All is laid out in front of you, but in the end it's up to you to take the time and effort to make the best of it. My wife and my 10 year old son had a great time on the Anthem of The Seas. This was our third cruise and 2nd on RCCL. We booked the 9 day Eastern Caribbean cruise leaving August 17th. We loved the ship. It was well appointed and clean. ...

This is a beautiful new ship. Spotless. We love cruising out of the New York area, saves two travel dates to Florida. Embarkation was great, get an appointment as early as possible to minimize traffic to the port. We were lucky to have a Bon Jovi tribute band on board, "Wanted", who performed 3 Bon Jovi concerts for us! This was great, the best entertainment we have experienced. The 3 ...

The food was excellent. A+ for the Chef and waiters. The dining and the 14, succulent food. Our waiters, Mr. Ruel, and Mr. Louis, assistant waitron the dining on the fourth floor on the Anthem of the Seas. The best! Everyone was friendly, ready to please the guests. The boarding was fast and easy. My friends and I live in Brooklyn, Bayonne was fast and easy for us. We didn't have to fly which ...

We utilized the services of a travel agent and she was able book all 22 of us in balcony cabins that we were able to connect via the balcony dividers. We were celebrating my in-laws 50th anniversary! Our cabins ranged from 10560-19578. We are from NJ so exploring NJ/NYC was not necessary. We hired the services of a 29 person bus to get us to and from Cape Liberty. That was a blessing after ...

We were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had! There was always something to do. There were many different alcoholic beverages to try. Dinner each night in the main dining room was great! We visited all destination ports and had many trips to choose from. Labadee was beyond our expectations! Wish we had more than one day there. North Star and Rip Cord were unique experiences. ...
