Our daughter was invited to perform on the ship with her dance company. I felt the design of the ship could use some revamping. Quite a few of the music venues were right next to each other and you could hear 3 or 4 different songs mixed together when you were shopping in the promenade. St Maarten was disappointing. A lot of damage from storms.Labadee was awesome. Zip line was great. And beaches as soon as you get off boat we’re great. Puerto Rico is nice. Just shopped. Love horseshoe bay in Bermuda. My best beach ever. Ships promenade was ok, thought it could be nicer. Food was same as any other ship. Casino is above average. Plus I won so that helps. We were celebrating my 70th and our 40th anniversary. I upgraded to a Grand Suite, 1 bedroom, for this cruise ( the upsell price was right $$). The amenities that came with the suite were exactly what I wanted. My husband and I were very happy and well taken care of.

The ship is very pretty and modern, but much narrower than Oasis class ships so therefore felt much more crowded. Impossible to get seats in the Solarium on sea days unless you were there by 7 am. Food in the Windjammer was sub par and also very crowded. I was unable to get turkey burgers like on Oasis and had to ask for chicken sausage, which were not on the buffet as on Oasis. I am a Diamond member on Royal and am writing this review as a long time cruiser.

Boarding was easy and efficient at Port Liberty
Ship is enormous.
Rooms were available at 1pm
If on My Time dining make reservations. The Windjammer buffet gets boring and crowded.
Eat at the Solarium for breakfast if you don't need the huge buffet.
The stateroom with balcony was adequate for our family of 4 - we only slept there.
