My husband and I chose to book this Christmas cruise as we had been on the Anthem of the Seas sailing from Southampton in June 2015. It was one of the best cruises we have ever done. We hoped to have the same experience again but were sadly disappointed. The bathroom toiletries have been downgraded, you now have to pay $5 for a wristband to use for purchases, the individual dining venues have ...
No flight needed if I cruise out from NJ, and I have cruised with Princess twice in the past, I want try something different. When I first started my booking, things have already gone wrong. My first booking is 12 nights South Caribbean cruise. After two months of my booking, I got a call that this cruise has been cancelled, so I have to choose another one, and lose all my previous booking ...
First of all, let me say that I am Blessed to be able to cruise and I love to cruise. I am also someone who rarely complains about anything on a cruise. However, this particular cruise has upset me enough that I have to vent.
Some of the positives. Cape Liberty has changed greatly over the past few years. The port has been improved and so has the staff and boarding process. Check-in is ...
Friends had asked us to join them on this trip, Our cabin was very very noisy, sounds of pipes falling, crew members singing and somone yelling at 2am ruined this vacation. Most days we were tired from loss of sleep and couldn't really enjoy our excursions.
We enjoyed the shows especially Phil Tag.l Enjoyed the trivia and bingo games. Would like to have more trivia games .Voice announcing ...
It is a shame to rate the review 2 Stars when it could have easily been 5 Stars, however for the Strictly Kosher traveler the kosher food was at best marginal, and most times third world. I n all fairness if you are not a kosher traveler then this trip would be fantastic. The ship is hugh, modern, clean, and very exciting shows and entertainment...but if your a kosher traveler you 're going to ...
I was very excited to go on this cruise with Royal; considering the class/newness of the ship and all it's bells and whistles. My first Royal, though on a older ship, had many of same varity of issues. But I was game to try again as I was hoping to find a ship as a "keeper" as it's a 1 day drive instead of airplane to the port. Not so. To keep it fair:
Positives: Ship design is GORGEOUS. ...
Went with daughter and husband for a Thanksgiving treat Enjoyed the accommodations and the restaurants. Getting around was very easy.
I enjoyed the shopping and restaurants on the ship Their was a large varity of food choices
The staff was particularly friendly and more than willing to help out. Since I am older I did not take part in many of the activities but I did enjoy watching them. ...
The ports were good. The things to do like Ifly, North Star, bumper cars, and roller skating are all very cool. The Two70 area is modern and super nice.
Everything else was extremely disappointing.
The service was horrible. They did not clear off the tables often, so it was always difficult to find a seat. The staff was very unfriendly. Our stateroom attendant did the very minimum. He did ...
The dining room service and stateroom service was the only enjoyable thing about this cruise. The rest of it was terrible! The bar service was extremely slow, and they ran out of moscato wine the first two days and near the end of the cruise at most bars. The staff was not friendly at guest services, and you were charged for nearly everything you did, including a WOW wristband. We also did not ...
Find a differnt RC ship to go on, Anthem of the seas is not the ship to vacation on. poor food , ship not clean , food is poor . shows are few and far between . nothing to do on board at night except to go to the casino. Poor service all around from the very start of this cruise no key at room when we arrived i clled guest services and was told to come down and get a key . when i did i found a ...
