We've cruised Celebrity once before and have cruised on RCCL, HAL, NCL, MSC and Cunard. On this trip we took Amtrak from Jacksonville, FL to Newark, NJ. The trip was 20 hours from 5pm to 11 am. This was our first cruise. Since we live in NJ close to Cape Liberty, we took a taxi to the port. It was very convenient. We were dropped off and on our way to check in within minutes. Pre Cruise- We came in a day early and stayed at the comfort suites in Elizabeth. Perfect for a night to sleep. Embarkation.
