Having previously enjoyed sailing on the Constellation in 2007,we were exited to return to a Ship and crew we just loved ..We are a couple in our early 50`s and LOVE to cruise. This was our 4th cruise on CELEBRITY and have previosly cruised with RCCL,Princess, and HAL. The Cruise Line failed to deliver our invitation to the Cruise Critic get together,so we missed this one (first time in 12 ...

We are a retired couple, usually traveling with another couple. We have sailed with NCL, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Celebrity. Embarkation at Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ was fantastic. We arrived slightly after 11 am and after a short wait, we were welcomed aboard w/ champagne and looking for lunch in the Seaside Cafe. Selection and service were good and we were soon ...

I have cruised for fifty years on many ships, the first being a cruise from NYC to Scandinavia on the STATENDAM in 1958. Over the years many other cruises followed on a variety of ships including the MICHAELANGELO, CRISTOFORO COLUMBO, ROYAL VIKING SEA and STAR, GRIPSHOLM, QE 2, MARIPOSA, MAASDAM and CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS. I have endured rough seas including a hurricane while on the GRIPSHOLM. I've ...

We've cruised Celebrity once before and have cruised on RCCL, HAL, NCL, MSC and Cunard. On this trip we took Amtrak from Jacksonville, FL to Newark, NJ. The trip was 20 hours from 5pm to 11 am. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jersey City, NJ which was an easy local train trip from the Amtrak stop. We just stepped out of Amtrak over right across from us was the local PATH train. The ...

The Constellation is definitely worthy of its # 1 rating in Conde' Nast Traveler, from the time I boarded the ship till I left I was impressed and my faith in Celebrity renewed. I had been on The Mercury back in March (see my review I understand it has been fixed) and came away with a very bad taste, however The Connie certainly made those feelings just a foggy memory. Boarding at Cape Liberty ...

We have cruised with Celebrity on at least 10 occasions. We have also cruised with HAL, Cunard, Radisson, Windstar, Star Clipper, and NCL. This was our first cruise to Canada and our first from Cape Liberty. We live in Maryland and decided to take the train to Newark. It was a very comfortable and less stressful way of getting to the ship. We had no worries about weight of luggage, ...

This was our first cruise. Since we live in NJ close to Cape Liberty, we took a taxi to the port. It was very convenient. We were dropped off and on our way to check in within minutes. The check in process was flawless and we were on the ship within minutes. Our bags were waiting for us in our room as we were coming in to clean up for dinner. We thought the food was awful. Everything was ...

Pre Cruise- We came in a day early and stayed at the comfort suites in Elizabeth. Perfect for a night to sleep. Embarkation. The worst in 20 cruises we arrived at 11:00 and did not get on the ship until 2:30. Nobody knew the reason for the delay and they had nothing to drink in the terminal. Grade D Cabin A family view on the aft was great what a awesome balcony and the sofa pull ...

Of the eight cruises we have taken, the one on the Infinity, sister ship to the Constellation, was one of the best. This experience, with the opportunity of seeing Quebec for two days and to see some fall color, led us to Constellation. On paper, it looked perfect. We flew from New Orleans nonstop to Newark a day early since we could not determine the exact nature of Celebrity's air program ...
