We picked this cruise for its itinerary and didn’t know anything about the Summit. We loved the itinerary and felt that it had the perfect mix of days in port and days at sea.

I believe this was our 5th Celebrity cruise. We chose Celebrity because it always seemed to be a quality cruise line, head and shoulders above similar cruise lines. My wife and I recently returned from a great cruise on Anthem. This was our 1st time on this ship and doing this itinerary.
We flew from Houston to Newark and the pier was a 15-20 minute Uber ride from the airport. No problems getting uber at the EWR.

The ship was great. It is a beautiful ship but starting to show wear and tear. All the public area sitting areas are in need of upgrades. This turned out to be one of my favorite ships. Just back from a 14 day cruise. I have sailed with Celebrity before so I knew what to expect. Stateroom attendant great. Blu restaurant service outstanding. Overall, loved this ship! The staff was amazing (compared to that of Adventure of the Seas)! Our room steward, Putu, was so personal and really made us feel at home. The ship was very clean and fairly classy looking. The bionic bar broke down a couple times, but staff was on top of it and got it fixed as quickly as possible. The revamp of ship incredible. The bands and lounge entertainment excellent. The entertainment staff eg dancers and singers were obvious around the ship and super friendly. The Captain friendly, and the Activity manager the funniest and friendly.
