The Liberty of the Seas could not be less disability friendly. There is no room whatsoever in any of the dining areas on this ship for someone with a mobility issue. Only one of the theaters was handicap accessible. The elevators are a disgrace and all had issues during the trip with no repairs made, whatsoever. Even if they were all working, I could not get on in a timely manner before the ...
Left out of Bayonne, easy in and out. Went on a 5 day Bermuda cruise, celebrating my daughter’s MBA. Stayed in a spacious balcony room. Everything was great.
The only issue we had was the my time dining, which did not seem to be on our time but when a spot was available, which was late evening. Next time I would go with a designated time. Found the food better than Oasis of the Seas. ...
The best part of this cruise was the two days in port at Bermuda. For the most part the food on this cruise was less than delectable. The upgraded meal at the reservation required restaurants was a bit pricey but better. The my time dining feature was horrible because there was always a twenty minute wait on a line to be seated. The cruise is targeted for the over 50 crowd, there was no sail ...
The staff was phenomenal!! Our room attendant was so nice and caring and even gave us extra care. The food was so so good and the homemade bread at the main dinning room was so good!! I never had a bad meal even in the buffet. The servers were so sweet and always made sure you were well taken care of. I always felt safe on the cruise on the ship and off. All the staff greeted you with a smile even ...
I chose this cruise because it was going to Haiti and Dominican Republic, some of the elevator buttons don’t work, some of the elevator call buttons don’t work. The carpets have fade marks on them as if someone vomited on them. (9th floor aft lobby). The electronics in the room are dated No USB plug ins. And they claim that medium shrimp are Tiger shrimp or Jumbo. The only way to get smaller ...
This was our fourth cruise on the Summit, of which three have been one week cruises roundtrip from Bayonne to Bermuda. We are Celebrity regulars, with multiple trips on Solstice-class ships and a recent cruise on the Beyond. Other than the Summit, we have not cruised on the other Millennium-class ships, mainly because we prefer the space and amenities of the larger ships. But we wanted a quick ...
We cruised on the Summit in December 2022 and fell in love with the ship. We liked the smaller size, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. When we saw she had a sailing to Bermuda in July 2023, we couldn't resist. We wish we had resisted and had chosen a different cruise line.
First of all, the good:
~Embarkation was the easiest of any port we have ever been to. It was ...
Due to COVID I had to cancel a long Celebrity cruise and had cruise credit to use up.
As my wife cannot fly, we pick ports in driving range. So, Bermuda here we come. A lovely Island.
The wheelchair support on and off ship was excellent. Great embarkation and disembarkation teams.
Welcome lunch in main dining room was disappointing. Wife's salmon was nearly jerky, and the room setup ...
We sailed on Liberty with a group of three: my partner and I (mid/late 30s) and his son (9). This was my third experience with Royal as an adult, second for my partner, and the kiddo's very first cruise.
We chose this sailing because we wanted to leave from a port within driving distance of our home in central NY and because I love Bermuda. On the whole, our experiences were positive.

Room service: 5/5
Stateroom attendant provided awesome job. He tidied up the room twice a day. He was polite and friendly.
Oceanview Cafe: 2.5/5
Food choices were fewer. There were 4 permanent stations offering the same exact basic food daily, namely Pasta, Stir fry, Salad, Pasta and Mexican. Only 2 stations offered different verities, namely Indian and there was daily feature.
