I will start by saying we had a good time. A lot of that had to do with simply being on vacation, cruising again and having people caterer to you. However, there were so many issues that make me question whether we had bad luck or RC is cutting costs everywhere.

We decided to go on this cruise because on son and his family were going. It was a short 5 night cruise out of Bayonne NJ. When we entered the parking lot- it was mobbed- other cruise ships using it- we had to go to a distant outdoor lot. A walk from the terminal. They did have a shuttle bus if you wanted to wait for it. Adventure of the Seas is a gorgeous ship, well-maintained and elegant. The promenade on Deck 5 had a European flair to it with more elegance than some of the over the top glitz I’ve seen on other ships. Lots of bells and whistles with an ice skating rink, boogie boarding, stand up surfing, rock climbing wall, and sports area.

We’re supposed to go on anthem in January but canceled because of Covid-19. Fully vaccinated and boosted but concerned about cases onboard and supposed to be 150 quarantine cases onboard many masks by cruise end. First cruise post covid19 and great group of fellow passengers! Many different ages. We’re age 65 plus and love to dance and enjoy Zumba line dancing theme parties etc. Enjoyed the chances we had but RCL seems to be cutting back on that stuff. RCL had so much karaoke. This was a dreadful ship.
Money money - wanted all the way. Popcorn for the show was $2
Mattress was terrible not one good night's sleep - told the mattress would be replaced at the end of October.
Nothing to do for 65+ on the ship but play trivia.

Just went on Adventure of the Seas to Maine and Canada. Just loved this cruise! Aside from the excellent ports-of-call, the ship was also great.
Though not a new ship, it was very well maintained. Our accessible room was very spacious, and our stateroom attendant kept it very clean and accommodated all of our requests.
