Great Itinerary and Outstanding Shore Excursions

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

This is the longest cruise my wife and I have done, and we weren't disappointed. Yes, Adventure is an older ship and needs a refurb, but this itinerary and the ship's staff made this a vacation of a lifetime. We've been cruising since 2003 on Royal, Princess, and Celebrity, but Cartagena, Colon, and Puerto Limon were all first-time ports for us. We booked a city tour of Cartagena through Royal ...

Amazing first time cruise for my daughter!

This was my 10 year old's first cruise, and it was amazing for her! I have been on multiple cruise lines, but have always enjoyed RCL most of all. The ship, though approaching 20 years old, is still in amazing shape. Our cabin, 8522, was great, and the only problem we had was that the couch was dirty, rock hard and broken, and really unusable. Everything else on the cruise was amazing. One ...

What a great vacation

Sailing out of Bayonne (40 miles from home) was luxuriously convenient. This ship was larger than our first cruise (on Brilliance), but never really felt crowded. We were less-than-impressed with food in the main dining room, and will probably plan for upgraded/specialty dining every night on future cruises. The three specialty restaurants were all excellent, as one might expect. Our cabin was ...

Just returned from our cruise on AOS to Florida and Bahamas. We are a family of 4 - me, husband, and 2 teenage sons 16, and 14. This was our 5th cruise with RC after previously sailing on Liberty in 2008 for our 10th anniversary, then Freedom, Oasis and Allure over the years. We have been very happy with all our previous RC experiences and this one met and even exceeded our previous cruises in ...

This is our 10th+ cruise with RC (we have cruised NCL and Carnival several times as well). RC is our favorite cruise line due to service, food, overall experience and drink options. Embarking and disembarking are a breeze in NJ. That particular port is within driving distance for us in PA, which makes it nice. We always opt to park at the port parking lot as it is so safe/convenient (the ...

We set sail on August 3rd 2018 out of Cape Liberty. Getting on board literally took only a half hour, it was pretty seamless. The service in the dining room, windjammer, rooms, and everywhere else was excellent! I would so go on this cruise again! Getting off was very quick and easy too, especially since they were ahead of schedule on most days! On our final day one of our family members stepped ...

This was our 3rd RC cruise and as always, it was splendid! RC is our favorite family vacation. there is always something to do for everyone. We are never bored, the shows are fabulous and the activities are plentiful!!! We have four teenagers and they love the teen center and all the friends they meet there. Adventure of the seas is a great ship for teenagers because they have the water slides and ...

We had 10 people in our party (6 adults - 4 children). Below are my thoughts on this cruise. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch we ate in WindJammer which offered food for everyone's taste. Also no shortage of desserts you could choose from. Nights we ate in the main dinning room and was offered three courses (app, main and dessert). Each night the menu was changed and again offered a ...

Cristin took care of our room 9272 and he was phenomenal. Cristin took care of every question, concern and issue we had with the greatest speed, courtesy and understanding. Cristin’s service made the cruise more than we could have asked for our family and is the reason would recommend and cruise with Royal Caribbean every time. Lounge/Bar service was good everywhere but Nino at Schooner and ...

The Adventure of the Seas out of Port Liberty, Bayonne NJ Aug 3 - 10 2018. Embarkation at this facility is smooth, similar to other large facilities. The refit of Adventure was worth it. The ship seems new again and clean. Plenty of space on board, even by the pools. It seems the right size for the amount of people on board. Not over crowded like the newer bigger ones that carry 5k plus ...
