We had sailed with RC 2 times prior and had satisfactory cruises. Friends had booked this cruise and invited us to join them. When trying to get anywhere on the fully booked ship, having so many elevators out of service was indeed a huge inconvenience. Some had no AC and were always packed tight. Getting around the ship proved difficult as you couldn't cross over to the other side ...

Used RCI before and it was great. Not so much this time around. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Springs popping up. Hard as a board. Complained twice. They tried to fix the problem but were never able to make it comfortable. Bathroom was very small. Shower was even smaller. Air temperature in the cabin was cooler than we’ve ever had which is a good thing. Food in the buffet was very ...

I hope this report is as helpful to those heading to New England & Canada as other reports were for us preparing for our cruise. This was our 5th cruise all with RCL and the first time on Adventure of the Seas. Liberty is our favorite ship. Overall we had a very nice time. What attracted us to this ship was its itinerary. We had wanted to do the NE/Canada itinerary for some time. We flew to ...

Have been a cruiser for many years. Choose this cruise for date and itinerary. Went to New England and Canada September 2018. Very disappointed in Royal Caribbean. Check in was ok but out pier staff repremended us for not printing out our paper copy of the sea pass cards and stated now she would have to do it! Shows were Horrible. They advertise broadway type performances, but I’ve seen better ...

My husband & I had a great time on the cruise. Really nice room with a balcony which was very clean. Great entertainment - loved the shows, singers, dancers, comedy and terrific 70s night and Ice Show. The ports we're good - especially the Lighthouse stop in Halifax, the Halifax Garedens, the Harbor walk in St John that we did on our own and Trolley Car tour we did in Portland. Traveled with 6 ...

Ironically our last cruise was in 2007 in the Caribbean on the AOS (not why we selected the ship this time). So its been a minute since we have chosen to spend our vacation $$on a cruise. The attraction was drive-ability to the port and the itinerary. 1. Boarding and dis embarkation was quite orderly and the process has benefited from the electronic records and screenings. I must note that ...

This was our 7th cruise with RC and as always we did enjoy our cruise and have booked our 8th cruise... however these are things we did not enjoy... Dining Room service that felt like the crew didn't have a clue and never had done this before! Always pushing you on your scores for the survey..always reminding you of their names so that you could drop their names on the survey. Total mix up the ...

Lots of lines to wait in

I choose this ship for a 50th anniversary cruise. The entertainment was amateurish and every place you went had long lines. Port Liberty is like driving to a crime scene, completely unorganized. Some of my friends were left hundreds of yards from the terminal because there Taxis would not wait an hour in line to get to bag the drop. I have sailed 30 plus times and never had a poorer port ...

We chose this cruise because of its itinerary. I do not like to island hop so we though New England and Canada would be a good experience and for the most part it was. The ship is clean and nice our cabin was a good size and always kept neat and tidy by out cabin attendant. Entertainment on board was excellent especially the Royal Caribbean Orchestra. Service was good. Dining is where it ...

Adventure of the Seas is average at best EXCEPT for the exceptional entertainment

I went on this cruise with friends which i usually do so i always go with the flow. The ports such as Bar Harbor were exceptional as was portland maine. The 2 ports in Halifax and New Brunswick in Canada were sub par. New Brunswick was a run down town and had absolutely nothing within walking distance. the town was simply boring. Halifax had a decent museum. The dining experience outside of ...
