This cruise was VERY hard to rate. The layout of the ship, the food, the service and the comedy and magic entertainment were all very good. The itinerary was good in Newport, Boston, St. John and Quebec -- otherwise there wasn't a lot more to see. Unfortunately there were numerous sour notes.

I will start out with we are not hard to please. Fifteen cruises in, all different lines and our age probably has something to do with that.
Our cabin on Caribe deck and balcony were fine. Once the toilet didn't work and someone was there immediately to fix it.

Fifth cruise with Oceania. The ship is beautiful. The food was way below average. Most of the Pastries were stale.I ordered Lamb medium and got it close to raw, and tough. Chosen for its itinerary but the regent excursions were disappointing. Most were your buses with local people. Some really boring stuff and very touristy spots. Given this is east coast of canada I was astonished that there was nothing that showcased the stunning beauty of this coastline. No opportunity to see wildlife or see seabirds or whales. It’s been a while since I’ve traveled on NCL and it’s not the same.
Took the NCL Escape for a “7” night cruise to New England and Canada.
1st stop Newport dreary and raining, Didn’t really get to see much as the weather didn’t corporate.

If you want good food select the premium meal plan. The standard fair is just fair.
If you want great entrainment go to Disney. Other than choir of Man, singers were pitchy and mumbled.
Mentalist show was good but short and slow.
