New York (Manhattan) to Bermuda Cruise Reviews

Traveling with adult friends age 60’s, enjoyed being with friends no matter what. Food was good , better at specialty dining. We chose this cruise as we wanted to see Bermuda. Unfortunately the weather meant we couldn’t dock there which is understandable but as it appears to be a regular issue NCL should warn you beforehand. We had booked this cruise kind of last minute, was this or a west coast / Mexico. We had even considered a different line because of the poor experience we had on the Jewel but thought...maybe that was a one off, give NCL another chance? As far as NCL ships go I liked the Getaway as I also liked her sister the Breakaway. I found the ship roomy with lots of nice spaces and lots of things to do. I use the Spice H2O during the day because it is adult only and the service there is always good. The complementary restaurants were excellent yet redundant on a 10 day cruise. This is a lovely cruise ship and the staff are very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the cruise. We chose this cruise because, for us, no fly and we were able to book at late date. Embarkation was seemless, almost too quick and easy. We had to wait 3 hours before stateroom was ready and eating venues were jammed. But once settled in, the sail away past the Statue of Liberty was magnificent on a clear, crisp day.
