The worst cruise experience ever

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Escape

1) No drinking water provided, force you to buy their extra expensive sparkling water, spring water and alkaline water. They don't allow you to bring water or any drinks back to the shop when you go on store. 2) the room has stinky drainage smell, our bathroom drainage was a little clogged and drained very slowly. On the last day of the cruise, when all rooms were opened for cleaning, a strong ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Disney Dream

Disney has gone so far downhill. Our first two cruises on the Magic were magical. Everything you think to expect from a Disney cruise. This one? Disney Dream to Bermuda in October 2023 was a hot mess. Ship's Appearance Disney was always the standard in cleanliness. Not now. The entire ship had the stink of sweat. One section, The District, added in the aromas of urine, vomit and poop. It ...

Disney Dream is a nightmare

Terrible- would not recommend and would not go again. Had plenty of great experiences before Covid on the magic, the dream, however was a nightmare. Day 1 - not a day only a couple of hours - waiting outside the terminal. When my time was set for 1:15-1:30, I expected to be boarding the boat, not waiting outside in the street. There was not enough parking and my husband had to walk 1/2 to park the ...

Not a JOY to sail on the Joy

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Joy

This was our 3rd cruise with NCL with the 1st in 2019 on the Escape and we loved it. My mom and step dad loved NCL and have cruised with them for many years so that was our reason for choosing the line. Went on the Pearl last year and enjoyed our experience. This cruise on the Joy was not a joy at all. The food: We never eat a meal at the buffet, but will grab a quick, small bite for ...

Itinerary - Chose this itinerary because of the featured port - Bermuda; the only port we didn't visit was: BERMUDA - We fully understand that the change was made in the name of safety - Contingency plan was wholly inadequate - an extra day in Bahamas, an added day in Miami - Having been to Bahamas before, there was nothing of interest to do there again - Miami was framed as a ...

Avoid The Carnival Venezia

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Venezia

In summary: Too many guests on the ship, not enough staff, and riff raff clientele with no etiquette. Embarkation times were long and a little disorganized coming out of Pier 88 in NYC. Debarkation was a disaster - we had a family of 4 in our group (with kids age 4 and 7) - it took them 2 hours to get off the boat because of gangway issues. One person in our group bought an expensive handbag ...

Apathy and Neglect

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Venezia

A rowboat from NYC to Bermuda is a better time. Captain accidentally mashes the intercom button once a day, which doesn’t instill confidence. Cruise director doesn’t want to direct—just wants to seem cute. Events and restaurants have no direction: to participate or eat, get physical. (You don’t want to, however. Meal choices are slime, mush, and rubber. Comedian helped me practice my pity laugh. ...

We cruised the maiden voyage from New York to Bermuda on the Carnival Venezia, the ship was small the food was so so. The night before we were to disembark the cruise lines ran out of luggage tags meaning we were to carry our luggage off the ship. We made it to the escalator and asked the Carnival cruise lines representee if we could take the elevator and we were told to take the escalator, my ...

Not a pleasant experience

We have been avid Disney Cruise customers but wanted to try another cruise line. Unfortunately this was a major disappointment. Let's start with a 2 hour delay in boarding, with no communication from the cruise line as to why. I had hoped that was just a misshap, but soon found that Norwegian was lacking on several departments. The first being that on several occasions when trying to use a ...

Very disappointing

We’ve been loyal to another cruise line for 29 years but thought we’d try something different. What a mistake! The entire process, from booking to disembarkation, was a disaster. We booked air through Norwegian thinking that would work with the scheduled sailing. That was another mistake. Our flight arrived at JFK at 0730. At that time, we were told that ground transportation didn’t start ...
