Nice Ship and Vacation

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We went on this cruise due to its location and its destination. Our son and his girlfriend joined us for this 8-night cruise out of NYC Manhattan terminal. We left on NYE and was hoping to enjoy the harbor as we left NYC, but unfortunately it was foggy out and we didn't see anything but a few lights through the fog. It was also cold outside, so didn't really want to be on the outside deck ...

NCL Joy October 22, 2022 Sailing NYC to Bermuda So good to be back to sailing. We would not go until mask requirements were gone. I loved this ship, so much to do and so many venues. The entertainment was non stop every day. Country Band from Nashville in the "Q". Broadway Shows, comedians the best I HAVE EVER HEARD. The staff always on top of everything. The days at sea were filled ...

7 Day NYC to Bermuda

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Joy

I chose this cruise with a friend because it fits into my end-of-year "burn vacation" strategy. NYC is easy to get to without flying. The Joy was better than expected. I've previously been on the Escape and Breakaway. I had no complaints about the Joy. The food was very good, the bar staff was top-notch, and the entertainers were all excellent in their trade. I recommend visiting Lorvina ...

This was my 11th cruise with Norweigan , I was previously on Breakaway , Escape and Joy . I was in cabin 8778 , a balcony room near Syds , my room attendant was excellent , he always had my room made up early in the morning and late at night . 10 out of 10 for attendant I was onboard to see a friend who performed with Burn the Floor I also put together the Meet and Greet with senior ...

I chose this cruise as it left from a port than was about 1.5 hours away. Drove from Philly to NYC. Paid $160 for parking at the terminal. My two daughters ( ages 5 and 12) went with me. We dropped our bag at the terminal, parked, and went into the terminal. Went through the checkpoints rather easily and quickly. No issues, Waited about 20 minutes in the terminal before we boarded the ship. Rooms ...

Went on Joy to Norfolk & Bermuda & really enjoyed it. It was my 8th cruise but first one in 7 years. I took my 3 kids, 21, 21, 20 & they really enjoyed it as well. Had previously cruised NCL & was disappointed. Much different experience this time. Didn’t care for food previously, food was great this time. Ate in dining rooms 6 nights & 1 night at Cagney. Food in DR was really good & great at ...

We chose this cruise because we have never been to Bermuda and wanted to see it. We chose NCL Joy because we love cruising NCL and, once again, they did not disappoint. We enjoyed a midship balcony cabin in perfect Bermuda weather. Actually, our first port of call was Norfolk, VA. We did a self guided walking tour around the town and we enjoyed our time in this friendly, clean, quiet ...

Disappointed

Just came back from a quick cruise with family. It was our first cruise back since before covid. Not sure short staffed, covid changes or cutting back; but long long lines everywhere. Big events with a lot of people in the evening and no food to be found or just pizzeria and Deli open with an hour wait or more. If you had the drink package long lines to get a beverage. The quality of food was ...

What a JOY this cruise was!

I had originally booked this in 2019 on the Escape but we all knew how that went. Tried again for the Joy in 2021 but I guess that the 3rd time was a charm. We ended up switching our cabin to a two bedroom/two bath with a living room interior cabin. I didn’t miss the balcony at all. There were more closets, cabinets and room then you could imagine! Our steward Allan was very kind & efficient. He ...
