I chose this cruise because of the convenience of leavinng from a port in my home state.
We had a balcony cabin mid-ship on the 9th flr. The cabin was not very well maintained, and the bathroom was so tight that using the tiolet required contortions and I am under 5'3.

This was my first time on NCL. I found the food and service to be poor. The room steward was definitely not attentive and sometimes had an attitude. My family had a cabin balcony. This was our fourth time on the same cruise on NCL Gem. We chose it again because we love the ship and it is just the right size. Living in CT, leaving from NYC is so convenient.
