Worse vacation ever

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Escape

4200 cruisers and 1700 staff. Like being stuck in NYC. We waited in lines all week for elevators, excursions, drinks, dinner. You could not get into buffet and find a table or a chair at the poll. Taste & Savor had horrible service with buffet quality food. I can say the Manhattan room was best dinner on board. Great Stirrup Cay Island was so crowded with 2 other ships there you could barely get ...

My 9 year-old son and I travelled on the Escape from New York to Nassau on march 2019. We were just the 2 of us for a week full of activities and adventures... Did not go as expected. FYI, it costed us 2300$ for the cruise and an extra 1000$ for all other fee, and I did not have a drop of alcohol or eat in a restaurant. (extra is for parking in NY pier, Shore excursions - kennedy space center and ...

We chose this cruise since it was close to home and available during the week we wanted to go on vacation. It was a pretty terrible cruise with the Captain almost getting us killed sailing into a storm with over 100mph gales that were forecasted, We woke at night with the ship listing and everything flying in our room. Many people on the ship were injured. Shame on the Captain for proceeding with ...

We did our first cruise in 2017 on the sky and wanted to experience a bigger ship that had more things to do. Checking in was quick and painless. All was great until bout 8hoirs I to our first day the ship went sideways. We were sleeping when it happened and we're woken by the crashing of our things in our cabin. An unexpected gust of wind at 115mph hit the ship. It was very scary moment but the ...

Overcrowded horrible cruise.

We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Manhattan which is convenient for us . The cruise was horrible right from the very beginning when we had to stand in the lines for hours upon hours. Our time to be at the port was at 11:30 and we began standing in the line at about 1115. We were corralled through the port for the next 3 1/2 hours before getting on the ship. By the time we got on ...

Great if you like huge crowds and long waits

Let me preface this by saying I am usually a glass half full kind of person. I grew up without a lot so appreciate the little things in life and understand the value of a dollar. With that being said, I have never cruised before and probably never will after this experience. Too many people and not enough space. Getting on the boat was a nightmare 1 hour and 45 minute wait in line with bags in ...

First time and very disappointed

The staff was good but that’s about all I can compliment. Had a time to check in at the port and it took over 3 hours to get on the boat. Paid a lot of money for a cruise that was half the price at another time. No room in the kids camp so I paid full price for a child and they had nothing to do. The buffet was just OK and any of the sit down restaurants were slow. Dinner was no less than 2 hours ...
