If you like rush hour traffic and gridlock, you will get a taste of it on the Breakaway. It fell in line date-wise with our cruise on the Epic that returned on 2/11/17.
PLUSES:
FOOD: Excellent all around.

Boarding process at NYC was very smooth and organized; all staffs (security and check-in) were very nice friendly. Lines moved quickly.

The Breakaway is a big ship. That being said, it was not crowded. Reservations in specialty or other restaurants was not a problem. There were not many children on this cruise so most activities were always available.

My husband & I live in NY so its very convenient to get to & from port. This was our 3rd time on the Breakaway & in Haven. Haven Spa Suite includes week pass to Thermal Spa which is awesome & so relaxing !!!!
