This was a small ship with great staff and activities. Steve, the cruise director, was easy to understand and added energy to the events. There were two comedians and a juggler in addition to the singers and dancers who put on productions. There were several game shows, a guest talent show and the zombie Thriller dancers. We went on this cruise with a group 10 (9 of us are retired) including 4 brand new retirees. Since we are a group ranging in age from 55 to 80 (most in the 55-65 range) we were looking for an active cruise agenda and some fun ports of call. We chose this ship to sample the smaller ship. We also have never been to New Orleans, so we spent a few pre-cruise days exploring NOLA. This was our 4th cruise with RCCL and by far our favorite! We loved the Vision and her crew. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, making recommendations and making sure everything was to our liking. Overall, this ship was flat out boring. There is no entertainment besides trivia, lame shows, and seminars for the purpose of selling something. The ride through the Mississippi and gulf was extremely bumpy a couple of days during the trip, it is a smaller ship, however. The food was average and super repetitive. We are Diamond Plus and have over 25 cruises with RCCL. This was our biggest disappointment.
We love New Orleans and had a great time prior to the cruise. There were 11 people in our party, including a 3 year old. Embarkation and debarkation went well. Loved that customs performed on board prior to New Orleans.

This cruise was a severe disappointment. The ship itself is ill designed, with no place that is peaceful or quiet. The food in Aquarius ran from mediocre most of the time to a few nearly inedible desserts. Trying Izumi for a change just netted us mediocre sushi at top tier prices. The entertainment in the Masquerade theatre was clearly going through the motions for the paycheck.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, which was to include CocoCay, Bahamas, and Key West. We have been to the Bahamas, but were eager to see CocoCay and revisit Key West. Unfortunately, CocoCay wasn't completed on time and we were diverted to Miami. We weren't especially interested in Miami but we were able to visit South Beach for about $14 each way via Uber.
