It was a good price for a 10 day cruise and I thought I'd give the big ships a try. I had only had one other "big ship" cruise on the Epic that was terrible.

My complaints are so minor they slip my memory. DO keep in mind I was a solo traveler (female mid-50s) and in arguably the best cabin onboard for me (16704).

We were nervous about cruising for such a long time but we discovered it was so great it wasn't long enough! Norwegian is excellent in all they do. Some specialty dining was included in the package we got and that was very good. The regular dining rooms were inconsistent - some pretty good meals and some not very good meals. My main complaint is that the smoke from the smoking areas drifts into the surrounding areas. There was a good noodle restaurant next to the casino but only ate there once because it was smokey. This was our 4th cruise with NCL and this ship and overall experience was mediocre. Crowding everywhere. Quality of Freestyle dining was poor. Staff were not as friendly as our previous NCL cruises. We will consider cruising NCL again but most likely not this ship. We are hoping that this is not an overall trend throughout NCL.

Ship was clean, beautiful, & friendly employees. We really had a great time & would definitely do it again. Especially for the great price we paid. On & off the ship was a easy process. Only one thing maybe on disembark day have the slower older folks & handicaps get off at a different location. We got behind some that could barely handled their luggage & held up the line.

We were just on this ship doing the Baltics in July and changed from the Pearl out of Tampa over T-giving. The embarkation was less than could be desired.
