Because it sailed out of New Orleans and I want to visit there. We went 2 days before the cruise and 1 day after. There were over 1000 kids and 4700 passengers. We chose the cruise to sail with friends. We wanted to try the port of New Orleans and the price was right.

1). No idea who my room steward was. Never met the person, no business card, service seemed to be random. Pro's -
1. Food was good
2. Drinks were good
3. Entertainment was great

1. Way to crowded - our ship was at capacity or a couple hundred short of it based on what the cruise director said. This made is hard to much of anything without waiting in long lines.

The cruise was nice but on a shore excursion purchased on the ship we were taken to a Taquila tasting where we were sold a bottle of taquila without a label or tax stamp.
