We chose this cruise because it was a re-positioning cruise with multiple ports we had not been to, many sea days which we love and because it was on the Dawn and we had done a repo cruise 2 years ago and LOVED it. What makes the ship and this trip so great? The officers and crew who go out of their way to make sure you're having a great time. The ship is not too big so you have the ...

Amazing Cruise

We chose this cruise because of the length and locations it was going too. We had never been to the Western Caribbean. Since we had a Family Suite with a balcony we received the privilages that come with this. Once we arrived at the pier we looked for the location where people in Suites checked in. They first tried having us go in line with everyone else but I knew better so I looked around and ...

Twelve days is NOT too much, we LOVED IT!! We chose this cruise because we always wanted to do a reposition cruise. Leaving out of NOLA allowed us to visit with family who live there and arriving back in Boston sealed the deal since this is where we live. Thanks to our niece and nephew, we got to see a great deal of New Orleans via walking and by car the day before the cruise. It is s beautiful ...

Repositioning to Boston 2017

Flew to New Orleans to take the ship which ended in Boston where I live. Everything was perfect.. Very attentive butler. We were in a suite which was a great experience. Taking a suite is just not the better cabin, but all of the perks that come along with it. Every move you make is a priority over everyone else on the ship. A suite is the only way to cruise. Norwegian did it up perfectly. ...

NOLA to Boston Repositioning

This is about the 5th time we have done a Dawn repositioning from New Orleans to Boston, or the fall reverse. As always, we find the repositioning to be a great value, as well as the added advantage of walking off the ship and being home in 40 minutes without the hassle of boarding a plane. Our goal on vacation is sleep late, drink lots, and eat good food. This cruise fulfilled all the above. ...

Have elderly family - nearly the last of my father's side of the family - living near Boston and try to visit a couple of times a year. Options are flight to Logan (from where I live in the Florid Panhandle) for a couple of days visit...or an ugly slog up I-10 and I-95 (or I-85 and I-95 for a couple of days each way. A couple of years ago I saw a re-positioning of the RCI Serenade of the Seas ...

Not up to Norwegian's standards.

We brought 40 people on this cruise for our 25 anniversary. The staff on this ship is not accommodating. Seems they push back rather than help you. No body went one step out of their way to help in any department from the wait staff to the photo department to the customer service desk. We are Gold Lattitudes so we know what Norwegian cruises usually offer. They broke the wheel off of my ...

Best Ports

We choose this cruise because of the ports of call. The friends we traveled with had never been to these ports. I enjoyed the private island in Belize, but it is always hot there. The other ports I have been to many times, we love Costa Maya the best. The Dawn is a beautiful ship. Nicely decorated without being too flashy. The dining up grades were excellent especially the steak house. We ...

This was our first cruise....and it was wonderful. We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin: The room was small compared to hotel rooms but it wasn't really cramped because of how well organized it was. Lots of storage space to get your "stuff" out of the way. Bathrooms, again small, but big enough.....the shower was great...we've had much smaller in hotels. Food: ...

2nd Time on the Dawn, but first since the Dry Dock and let me say, I loved it! The Pub being moved and expanded was perfect and by far our best place to go each day or night. Live music down below with a great staff and great drinks. The Venetian did well each night we were there and did not let any of us down. My wife and I have been on several cruises and brought some friends along ...
