The Staff was outstanding but the cruise was very poorly organized

I will start by saying we have cruised with NCL 18 times, and have never complained. My attitude is "If you can't find the good , that is your problem." This was the 8th time on the Dawn the 4th re-po.We chose this cruise because we love taking reposition cruises, especially if Boston is at the beginning or end. We live in central MA which allows for only one way flight. We spent 2 days ...

My group of three chose this cruise due to the length of the cruise and the ports of call. We responded to an ad online from an agent out of Las Vegas, NV. We had all sailed on Norwegian previously however it had been over 15 years for each of us. I would point out the age of our party was 70, 70 and 80. We made clear with the agent we would need three twin beds and decided on an oceanview ...

This was our 4th NCL cruise and 10th cruise total. We had an early time to check in at the port but then had to wait two hours to embark. I guess they are trying to stagger folks but I don't think we would have shown up that early had I know we wouldn't be able to get on for 2 hours. We got the Ultimate Beverage Package and certainly enjoyed it. We had an inside room this time. We are definitely ...

I have been loyal to Norwegian and have never had a BAD experience. This time, I was very disappointed in service and especially in their policy change of NO bringing sodas or waters of your own on board. I am sure it is to make more money. Understand that but don't make me buy the ship water to take on excursion and then the bottle is so big I can't finish but can't bring it back on board. ...

This was an OK cruise.

We choose this cruise to watch Jose and Patti. It was when I had a break from work. The room was too small. The staff was not at all helpful. They said there was no additional rooms. They found us a new cabin on day five. It had been empty the whole week. I was supposed to get $50 at every port toward shore excursions. The staff said I was not entitled to it. When I got angry, the manager was very ...

I chose this cruise because it had 4 interesting stops, unfortunately they were not up to the expectations expected and we felt like they were intentionally out of the way so you had to book things thru the ship on 2 of the stops including spending a bunch of cash at their private island in Belize. The meals on the boat were good, although may were jam packed with resteraunts having 30 to 45 ...

Spring Break???

Received a free cruise and upgraded to balcony, think it would be a good time to go , no bad weather and not so hot. Did know that it was spring break, over 800 college students onboard, for the most part most behaved however very, very noisy on the pool deck and tons and tons of drinking, so many underage yet were served. We've sailed NCL 8 times, and and are Platinum members and probably won't ...

Norwegian in the past, the food was to die for. Prices were great and the service couldn't be beat. Now they want your last dime $5.00 sodas and drinks started at $11.00 two beers $15.00 and the food was nothing to write home about. Specialty dining was a waste of money worst $90.00 ever spent Sooooo disapointing. Norwegian was the best value two or three years ago but now wants to see how much ...

Is NCL cutting corners??

This was our fourth NCL cruise. Compared to our first it just didn't measure up. Even allowing for the fact that the Dawn is one of their older ships (launched in 2002). The crew was great. NCL does seem to maintain a high level of service from their stewards and wait staff in particular, but even others that are encountered from time to time are very friendly and helpful. The wait staff ...

I chose this cruise to get away from winter and to relax. I was traveling by myself. This ship had only one pool that was crowded during sea days but lovely when I was on the ship on port days. I didn't do any of the specialty dining this cruise but the offerings in the main dining rooms was satisfactory, even good. Service oveall was good on this cruise. New Orleans for a embarkation port ...
