Been cruising for over 30 years. This was the first time on NCL and we took this cruise because of the "ports of call".
First, two ports were cancelled and one was added before sailing. many things went wrong as soon as we got underway.

We did this cruise because of the ports of call. Left from new orleans and went to seattle. The ship is very nice and clean, room also very good. The crew was always happy and friendly. Food was better than expected. We missed two ports of call and were not told was not told why, this is one reason we chose this trip was for the ports of call. Choose this cruise for the Panama Canal itinerary. Had great weather which helps, but really an amazing cruise start to finish. Ship was in great shape, staff were fantastic and hard working. After 7 cruises on NCL beginning with the Norway in 1999, no more NCL for us until some policies are reversed.
We felt more nickel and dimed than ever.
First you can no longer bring your own bottled water on board. I can't tolerate the tap water on the ship as it makes me feel ill and the cost of on board bottled water is ridiculous. This amounts to extortion.

Left port out of New Orleans. Parking was $90 up front before you park. This was organized and very quick from time you pull in the garage to the time you begin boarding. 5 to 10 mins max. The room and service were the best. The staff does go above and beyond. The food for lunch is your typical hot dogs and hamburgers.
