Pricing was very low on this Balcony cabin. We are seasoned cruisers with 20 thus far and had been on the Dawn prior to this and had not had a great experience, so decided to give Norwegian another try. Start with embarkation. I personally thought that Norwegian did a good job with amenities. The ropes course on the boy was absolutely a blast. The restaurants where awesome. From the Tropicana room, to taste, and o’sheehans bar. All had different atmospheres, and different styles of food. It really felt like we were at different restaurants each night.

The food was terrible in both the dining room and Lido buffet/cafeteria. The menu's were virtually the same. It felt like I was eating at the Golden Corral or Hometown buffet. My wife and I chose this cruise mainly based on price.
We traveled on our own to New Orleans and spent two nights there before the cruise. We enjoyed Bourbon Street, a ride on the streetcars, and the World War 2 Museum. The museum was awesome. We stayed at the Lafayette Hotel and were able to walk to the ship.
