Worst vacation ever. I have been on over 25 cruises and this is our last on Carnival. The cabins were dirty. Hair from previous people all over bed and bathroom. Sand and dirt all over floor Dirty towels were under the bed. I was afraid to touch anything. No Covid precautious at all The staff was the absolute worst it seemed like they were mad we were there. NEVER ...

Sailed for a week on Carnival Glory. New Orleans, Bahamas, and back. 6 cruises under my belt. First off, the port. Confusion. Julia or the other dock? Stayed at Hilton by the river. Concierge said no problem, walk. Turns out it wad docked at Eratos St. Which is 1 block further south. You drag luggage thru a shopping mall. Julia St cruise port is only for Norwegian I think. oK. Get to Eratos ...

Norweigan Getaway FEB 2020 Review The booking experience was a nightmare (I booked directly thru Norweigan). I ended up talking with several different NCL consultants and hands down they were rude and several mis informed me. I should have stopped there. I thought we were getting a good deal and liked the options so i proceeded with booking two cabins (two people in each cabin). First of ...

What a piece of junk! Needs refurbished, or at least fixed. I never thought it possible for a cruise ships food to be so terrible. The biscuits resembled hardtack not actual biscuits. The crew is either complete novices, or imbeciles. Dining service was cold and had no feeling. Food was terrible. The breakfast buffet was yesterday's leftovers, and the breakfast brunch in Washington dining ...

This was our 3rd NCL cruise, but the 1st on a boat with nearly 4,000 passengers. This is a lengthy and hopefully an informative review. Executive Summary - It’s in the title of the review, NCL Stayaway or as some other passengers referred to it, Get-in-line vice Getaway. Your money and time can be better spent. Although, some passengers rationalized the inadequacies in service, line ups, ...

My husband and I just went on our honeymoon to Mexico on the Carnival Valor. The service provided by the crew was absolutely amazing but there are things to know about the cruise itself before deciding to go. My biggest problem was all the hidden fees. Before we even got on the ship they took a $100 deposit out of our account and then after the cruise is over you have to pay for expensive ...

For a second time cruising totally disappointed

Due to illness the ship made it to where you couldn’t service your self, so eating anywhere was a headache. The ship wouldn’t disclose if someone was ill just saying it was precautionary. For this being a large ship everything sold out quickly, they weren’t stocked enough. Shows said sold out but then almost half was empty! Same with restaurants. Last year 2019 we went on the Jade which is half ...

Cruised out of NOLA on the Getaway to the Western Caribbean. Disaster from the get go. We booked online...3 balcony cabins all on the same floor next to each other as we were traveling with kids and elderly passenger. We paid for 3 balcony cabins and were assigned 2 balcony cabins - one at the back of the ship on deck 10 and one one the front of the ship of deck 8 - and 1 INSIDE CABIN on Deck ...

Pros: Nice balcony room Great entertainment Cons: Embarkation was a disorganized mess. Told there would be a 'casino at sea' line but never saw it. Took one hour and fifteen minutes to check in. Terribly over-salted pre-made food. Only restaurant we had a decent meal was La Cucina Heavy sell on excursions and future cruises Poorly written Free Style dailies with limited ...

I am a platinum member of Norwegian latitude club, so this was not my first cruise with them, but it will be my last. I was staying in a spa cabin which basically means you have access to the spa. After nearly a week in my cabin of being itchy and finding bites on me, I discovered I had bedbugs. Having traveled half way around the world in my lifetime, I have never had bedbugs and was completely ...
