Ship was really nice, but I had prepaid for spa services and they charged me again I had to go to straighten it out every day. At end of cruise still fighting. Their accounting program has no way to enter the prepaid amount deduction at the time of service. Also not once but twice I was told I had a losing hand by two different dealers within an hour apart when I had a winning straight. Pictures ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports it was to visit. we arrived about noon, parked off-site and had no wait to embark. Debarkation was just as smooth. Great job there the ship was very clean and updated. We were in an ocean suite on the 7th floor. nice cabin, but it overlooked an outside hot tub. If you want lots of quiet time on your balcony, choose another cabin. Late dining was not very ...

We wanted to cruise during Thanksgiving without flying, so we chose this one from NO since we could drive. We stayed at Hampton Inn-Metairie where we could leave our car for a week. Embarkation was a breeze at 11:30. Had lunch and drinks then on to room at 1 where we found our bags waiting for us. Debarkation was easy. We literally just walked off the ship at 8:15 and were back on the road ...

We cruise to relax with family. The MDR was a mess..long waits, mixed up orders and food was terrible. The buffet had better food.I will add we do not go on a cruise expecting gourmet food, just edible and the main dining room was not. We took advantage of all the other places to eat and all were enjoyable. Lines were long all over, but moved quickly. There were many kids running wild and ...

Dream-y Thanksgiving Cruise

We took the Thanksgiving cruise on Carnival Dream out of New Orleans. We live only an hour from NOLA, and we knew we just wanted to get away for the holiday, so this was a no-brainer. We previously sailed Dream in 2014. We consider ourselves fairly well-seasoned cruisers, having sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. The ship itself is quite nice, but it came out of dry dock not ...

We choose the Dream because it was the biggest and closest ship to us. Perfect timing for the holiday while the kids were out of school and very inexpensive. Our cabin steward and waiter staff were great. There was so much to do and eat on the ship that we didn’t get a chance to experience it all so most likely we’ll try to make it up on our next cruise. The excursions were great. Key West ...

Let's start by saying ,we came a day earlier than our scheduled cruise. We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in New Orleans . This hotel is not far from the cruise parking garage, Fulton Parking. They have a shuttle to the port . Our ship is the Carnival Dream. Once we get to the port, now it's embarkation time. Standing in line ,not knowing if you are in the right line. No signs ,then finally ...

We wanted to explore New Orleans, and go to to Key West and the Bahamas. Irma had other plans, but Carnival made the trip great! Embarkation: We walked on to the ship. I had failed to print my sisters boarding pass but was helped by Carnival staff, keep in mind this was with glitches in the computer systems because of weather in Florida. The shows were all professional quality. We were ...

On this cruise was myself, my mom and my sister. We had a really good time on the ship, spent a lot of time in the casino. Embarkation went pretty smooth. We arrived about 10:30 and was surprised at how full the parking garage was, had to park on top. Sat in the priority lounge, it was very full. They had some drinks and cookies out. I want to say it was a little before noon when they ...
