I chose this cruise because RCCL has not sailed from New Orleans in many years. Was very happy to see them back as it is only hours from home. Embarkation went fairly smoothly. They needed more people to manage the seating for priority boarding area. The overall condition of the ship was good. I saw nothing to complain about. I had a balcony cabin (#7028) on port side near the front. Was ...

We took a 7 day cruise out of New Orleans. We took this cruise for several reasons. The first reason is because it left from New Orleans. Since we live just outside of New Orleans, it is very convenient to just drive to get on the ship. The second reason is because it was a Royal Caribbean ship. We have sailed several times with this cruise line. We usually enjoy their ships. The third reason ...

My wife and I had this cruise scheduled and a hurricane named Harvey changed our itinerary for us. This was also the only cruise on the Dream we had not sailed as anyone that has looked at our profile of cruises will see and our 5th on the Dream. Liked Carnivals new embarkation board with boarding pass, sail and sign card in mail box by cabin door and we love the Cove Balconies on deck 2. The ...

First Cruise Experience

Being my first cruise - I learned as the journey continued. Note: My United seat was too small and chairs too close to my knees for me to get out. I would have enjoyed my cruise more if I had "thought" about there being a doctor on the cruise. Because of the hurt sacrum and arthritis, I needed to stop more often. Therefore, I would have LOVED having somewhere to sit on each floor. ...

I sailed with The Flying Scotsman (Chris Williams) last Nov and wanted to sail this cruise with him again. He does not disappoint when it comes to onboard entertainment, whether from him or his staff. He has so much energy that he brings to the cruise. The shows on board were excellent. Chris also did a a wonderful veterans appreciation on the last day of the cruise. Our cabin steward Pande kept ...

Carnival ain't what it used to be

We used to love cruising with Carnival. I don't know if it was just this ship, but Carnival has cut way back on the things we used to love the most about cruising. The shows aren't even worth watching. I used to love the Las Vegas style shows. There weren't any dancers! They were the best part of the entertainment. There's just so much that's not the same. There aren't any more cloth ...

This was my second time on the dream. Almost everything was great . We enjoyed the food, if you can’t find something you like then your too particular. Shows at night we’re good and games during the day were great. Room was nice and always clean. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the lido deck, where many people hang out by the pool. There was not enough entertainment . They played a ...

I give Carnival Dream a 9 out of 10, with 10 being the highest. Enjoy the ship and cruise. Ship is clean and neat. Our interior cabin was very roomy and comfortable. Crew was very friendly, Especially Wasanna in the Buffet Area, Always telling you good morning. She puts a big smile on your face every day. Food was good in the dinning room 7 out 10. "I am kinda picky, being from New Orleans" The ...

We (mid 60s) decided to take our daughter(30) and son-in-law (40) on a cruise. We have been on several cruises, first time for them. The main reason we picked the Dream out of New Orleans was because we wanted a long day in Key West (8-5). Our son-in-law is an avid fisherman and we wanted to fish in Key west. We flew down on Saturday January 27th. We took a cab from the Airport to Maison Dupuy ...

We have enjoyed many cruises with Carnival and 3 on the Dream. We chose this cruise because it was going to Key West. We choose cruises by destination. We like to go new places and see different and interesting things. We like the Burgundy Lounge comedy and the Encore shows on the Dream. Breakfast in the Scarlet Restaurant is great. The BlueIguana Cantina, the Mongolian Wok, Tandoor and Guy's ...
