Cruised to get a whole load of luggage back to UK, we are selling up in the USA.
Ship fine, but RC are now getting penny-pinching. The staff were great, as usual.
A transatlantic cruise is fine if you are happy to chill for 6-7 days, which I am.
The 'enrichment' talks were not at all good. The 1st presenter's overheads were fuzzy, unreadable. Apparently this was because a) the 'aspect ...
Overall, this cruise was ok. We had taken 2 other transatlantic cruises and this was not as enjoyable as the other two. The cabin was an excellent size but we had to call maintenance 5 times to try to get the thermostat fixed. The entire ship needs to be refurbished. The food was acceptable. For the age group of the majority of cruisers, the activities offered were minimal during the day. ...
excellent value it was a wow cruise service could not be faulted food as always was wonderful the shows were very good apart from the BOHEMIANS who were awful ports were very good and easy to visit with no long walks transatlantic crossings are always good and this was no exception its great to be on a cruise for 14 days with royal carribean as they are the best the weather was pleasent ...
The food was fabulous and the dining room is beautiful. The wait staff kept our meal going at the perfect pace. The 6 days at sea were relaxing except we had two days of 15 ft then 20 ft swells that can make you queasy. If I were to issue any complaint it would be that too many events happen during lunch and dinner. They do have two shows-one for early seating and one for late. This cruise ...
Family trip to travel home from Florida. It was an absolute disaster, the food was inedible cold and on two occasions the meat was raw.. I made several complaints to customer services and to F&B director but no acceptable improvements were made, my wife and I contracted Gastrointestinal problems on penultimate day and we were quarantined in our suite until we disembarked. If you or your family and ...
This was our three cruise ,second with RC .big change since our last cruise with RCThe ship was not totally full so we had more room to spead out.registration was very smooth but we were offered VIP registration but signs directing you to this service were not available.Activities:Movies were offered in an outdoor setting this was fine near coastal waters but when the ship is in the middle of the ...
This was a very crowded cruise and not much was done to make it feel less so. The spaces on the ship were not fully used. Even though it was in the 50's and windy the evening movies were still at the outside pool deck. Why not move them to the conference center area? While it was generally cold outside on the sea days the theater area could have been more fully used for entertainment. The speakers ...
Stateroom 9300-excellent location.
Chosen for its ports and price, both of which were good.
We had sailed on this ship 1.5 years ago. In that time RCCL seems to be doing some cost cutting. Furnishings in lounge areas were showing extreme wear. Our cabin steward was required to care for 16 cabins on his own which left little time for some extra cleaning that needed to be done in our room. ...
We have been on several cruises with Royal and Celebrity and I must say this was the WORST. They were very disorganized and it seems that they have cut corners every which way they can. They have the crew doing at least three different "cultural shows" to cut back on entertainment costs. The food in the main dining room was awful and they offered PIZZA and QUICHE as a main dining room entree ...
Birthday cruise turned out to be a big disappointment. A 14 night cruise started great but deteriorated throughout the journey. Small signs encountered along the way indicated something was wrong.
- many typos and wrong scheduling in the cruise compass created communication confusion for guests and staff
- ran out of chicken and turkey sausages on the first day - poor planning or tactic ...
